  1. Here is a better price. Smith & Wesson CSX 9mm - Black - 12 Round - Dance's Sporting Goods (dancessportinggoods.com)
  2. Reminds me of a polymer framed 1911, without the grip safety. A Star PD comes to mind.
  3. I've had both Marlins and Winchesters in 30-30 and really now regret selling both off. Even old Revelations and Ted Williams have gone through the roof. Feel very fortunate that I got my Rossi M92 in .357, back in 2020 for around $500. They are unobtainable now.
  4. You and me both...
  5. I'd love to see it re-introduced in .32ACP!
  6. No apology necessary. I will try to post a pick of them side by side, later this week. Might try sending it to you. Wenger and Victorinox both made the Soldier for the Swiss Army, so they are identical, other than the manufacturer markings.
  7. Looks like it never left the box or the wax wrap!!! Beautiful rifle! If I had a $1000, I'd buy it! GLWS!!!
  8. You went and made me go look. It is not a Victorinox. It's a Wenger and it's marked 99 on the main blade tang, First Edit: I would post a pic, but I find that posting pics here is an exercise in frustration. They usually come out looking like postage stamps. Second Edit: I also have a Victorinox Alox Soldier as well, marked 91. I bought both these used. Neither has the box and the Vicky is without the bale. Whoever had it first probably removed it, because it’s easy to close the main blade on the bale and nick the edge. That’s already happened with the Wenger.
  9. I swear, I think Gun stores hire the dumbest individuals they can find, to work behind the gun counter, sometimes. Seems the worst offenders are places like Academy and Bass Pro.
  10. Today I'm carrying my Ruger LCP-Max with two extra 12rd mags, an Opinel No, 9 and a Victorinox ALOX Soldier,
  11. Have the released the MSRP yet? Are there any reviews? EDIT: This answered part of my questions. New For 2022: Savage Arms Stance Micro-Compact Handgun Line | An Official Journal Of The NRA (americanrifleman.org)
  12. I've been buying Federal Auto Match .22LR at Walmart when I catch it. At $20 a box of 325, I don' think that's bad at all. Now the Winchester Anniversary Boxes at $40 are a big no go.
  13. That doesn't fit the narrative.
  14. Today, I'm carrying my Walther PPK/s with two extra mags and my CIVIVI Vexer.
  15. Beautiful revolver at a great price! GLWS!
  16. That's a cool heater! GLWS!!!
  17. Honestly, I'm really not sure why and firearms manufacturer would sell any of their products in California. I sure would not. Especially, if this comes to fruitation. I wouldn't see to either to any Governement entity there either.
  18. I'm wearing an old gray and orange Armitron All Sport that looks like a G-Shock. It does all it I need it to do, like tell time, the date, an alarm and a stop watch (never use that feature). Got it used at an antique store for $10, about a year ago. It's been in the ocean and in several rivers around here in East Tennessee. Still going strong. I've not replaced the battery. When it goes, I'll toss it and go find another $10 watch. Maybe it will be a G-Shock.
  19. I believe you can purchase it online and have them send it to the store in Sevierville. Of course the next thing is finding ammo for it…
  20. Good God, where are the parents??? Sheriff: N Carolina student was carrying AK-47 on school bus Thu, December 9, 20211:36pm ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (AP) — A North Carolina high school student has been taken into custody after he was found to be carrying a rifle with a loaded magazine on a school bus, a sheriff's office said. Pasquotank County Sheriff Tommy Wooten told a news conference on Wednesday that the student was carrying a pistol-grip AK-47 with a loaded 30-round magazine, The Daily Advance of Elizabeth City reported. Wooten would only identify the student as under the age of 18. The bus carrying students from Northeastern High School and River Road Middle School stopped at the middle school at around 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, the sheriff said. As the middle school students were getting off the bus, the bus driver called an assistant principal after smelling marijuana on the student, authorities said. Wooten said the assistant principal told the school resource officer, who searched the student and found the rifle and marijuana before taking the student into custody. Both the middle school and high school were placed on lockdown to allow law enforcement personnel to conduct searches, Wooten said. The sheriff’s office is seeking juvenile petitions on a number of charges, including felony and misdemeanor possession of a firearm on school grounds, according to the sheriff. I say we turn it over to Arkansas or Mississippi and walk away...
  22. Amen to that! Wingnuts to the left of me and Wingnuts to the right of me... I'm just sitting in the middle, wanting to be left alone.
  23. I use one that belonged to the Police Chief of Middlesboro. It had to have been made back in the 60's or early 70's. Now that the cool weather has set in, I wear it daily.
  24. I remember this one. Beautiful gun! Hate to see you moving it. But I understand “needs must”. Sorry my friend!
