I have to admit that when I read about this yesterday, I was not surprised. Trump was not personally friendly to our cause unless it was to help him get votes. Pence and others on his staff had to back him off pushing an anti-gun policy just about everytime a mass shooting occured during his Presidency. He even came out against the NRA right after the school shooting in Parkland Florida, calling for congress to stop being scared of the NRA and pass common sense safety measures, like gun show loop holes, background checks, increasing the age to 21 in order to purchase a rifle and backing red flag laws. The next day, he met with the NRA and backed off those comments. And don't forget the bumpstock ban, Trump is a pragmatist at best. He does what ever is best for Trump. Right now he is on our side, because it servers him, but you can never totally count on him.

They are way out of ours too! This us our first camper and we weren’t looking to put a lot of money in one, just in case we didn’t like it. We got into our used Gulf Steam, with 1 slide out for the couch, for less that $4K. It has a few issues, but it’s still serviceable and dies what we need it too. It’s given us a great idea of what we like and don’t like in a TT!

Actually, the more I read about the timeline prior to the Gunman entering the building, I’m not sure the school was his real target. After he shot his grandmother, he gathered up his gear and fled in a truck. As I understand it, police were chasing him when he wreaked the truck, near the school. He jumped out and had a running gun battle with police as he tried to get away. Unfortunately he ran towards and into the school. Several officers were hit. He than ran into a classroom and barricaded the door. Then proceeded to shot the teacher and the kids in that classroom, until the Border Patrol Tactical Team stormed the class and killed him. This has me wondering if he ever intended to attack the school in the first place. It almost seems it ended up being a target of opportunity. That doesn’t lessen the impact on the community or our nation from such a heinous crime.

I have an older Saiga AK in .223 that eats steel case all day long. My AR is a bit more finicky with them. I have no clue what a Saiga in .223 costs now, since you can't get them anymore. I imagine they are quite expensive. Also. I run slightly modified Israeli Galill mags in my Saiga.

We have a Gulf Stream 24 footer with a slide out, but would love to have an Air Stream! But more than likely, we will buy a RV for when I retire, so we can travel out west during the Summers.

Milsurps have even dried up online. None of regular sources line Classic Firearms, etc has much milsurp stock anymore, other than some Toks and Carcanos. i still see some European Police trade-in pistols from time to time, though.

Just wish Ruger had made the Wrangler with an 8 or 9 shot cylinder, in .22LR. In this day and age, there just isn't a reason not to. I know Heritage also comes with a 6 shot cylinder, but they also make a replacement 8 shot cylinder and paw and I understand they are fairly easy to swap out. That's about the only reason I see in going with the Heritage, though. Now that I have my Henry Classic .22LR LR, I'm planning on looking for a nice .22 single action, to go with it. Remember that @Grayfox54 in the coming weeks.

Dealing with my 80 year old mother, now. She has pancreatic cancer and it is terminal. She is taking chemo to extend her life and she is now also dealing with congestive heart failure. I don’t think it will be much longer.

I’ve looked at these and almost pulled the trigger several times, but backed off. I might buy the 4 inch version, though.
