But the thing is the next vote only needs 51 to pass. Our two Senators did a lot of damage today. I will not forget when they come up for election the next time.

Sweet!!! I wish ESEE would make models of their knives without the coatings on them, just so you can do stuff like this, easily!

I think they are great shotguns, but the 12ga kick is a bit punishing for me. I can handle the 20ga all day long though. What I like about them is if I want I to go tramping around the family farm, it's lite and handy. Much more fun to carry around and shoot than my Browning Auto 5!

Following in Great Britain's foot steps, the next items the Liberals will want to regulate are sharp instruments!!! -
If your set on a 410, I'd go with an H&R single shot. However, 410 is pretty pricey when it comes to buying shells. You might want to consider a H&R 20ga. Shell prices about half.

They are trying to take away any incentives to being successful. They don't look ahead. The question they are failing to ask is, who is going to pay for all this stuff in the future, when everyone is on the Government dole. Liberals are stupid people!

Any leads on mechanical engineering work around Nashvile
Moped replied to brent_strong's topic in General Chat
If he just wants to move to Tennessee, then you have Chattanooga with the VW plant and related industries. Denso is located in Knoxville as well. They employ a ton of people. If he wants to get out of the automotive arena, there are several engineering firms that are HQed in Nashville like Gresham Smith and Barge, Waggoner, Sumner and Cannon. -
Starting that slippery slope. First it will start with the wealthy. Then it will be the well off. And later on the middle class. They don't really need that $1 million in their IRA, so they can retire early. The one piece of advice I've given to my all my kids and their friends that have graduated from college or are working good jobs that I know, that they need to start their 401K and max it out immediately. They don't have it in their pocket, they will never miss it. That way, if they want to retire at 55 they will be able to afford to. You know what all of in the middle class needs to do is quit working and go on the Government tit and suck this country on down the financial tubes and then start all over again!!! If we are all on welfare, then no one will be paying Obama and the Liberal's salaries and the Government will fall apart!!! Far fetched I know, but I get tired of paying for all the stupid stuff our Government does!!!

Looks like a heavy little folder for it's size. How thick is the blade? I like the "nessmuck" contour!

It's his firearm. He should be able to do what he wants with it. It's his loss if he decreases the value.

It serves the liberals right! -
It was a great song until you changed the words. Then it made me throw up in my mouth, a little.

I have a Remington 521 Junior Target Rifle. I think these rifles are gems!!! Mine has darker wood than yours. I think the stock on your rifle is beautiful!

I don't much care for rails on a 1911 or any pistol for that matter. I don't like stuff on a pistol and really don't care much for stuff on a long gun, either for that matter. I don't like scopes, lasers, lights or wiz bang gadgets on firearms. I like iron sights with dots or dot and post. Their batteries never run out and iron sights don't give your position away to the bad guy in your house.

They are on my Springfield Loaded 1911, but I ignore them. We I bought the pistol from a friend of mine, I bought it because it was reliable and accurate. I could overlook the front serrations.
-
I own a Springfield "Loaded" and it's my favorite pistol. I will never be without a 1911!!! I also owned a Glock 17 and gave it to my wife, so I wouldn't trade it away. It's a fantastic pistol! The pistol I own with the best trigger is a Colt Agent .38 spl. It doesn't look like much, but it's a great shooter. The one I carry the most is the little Agent. because it's comfortable, it shoots well and it's very concealable. That being said, I would not be uncomfortable carrying any one of the three and defending myself and my loved ones with it.

If Lil' Kim decides to pop a nuke, it won't be us that gets it. More than likely it will be Japan, since they can target them more effectively. A war there would be a miserable one and mostly infantry. Way to hilly for armor. We aren't ready for something like that. Got to remember, that the last several wars we fought, we were the "aggressor". The shoe will probably be on the other foot now. They will be coming over the border at us this time, while we wait on them. Not the other way away around. The city of Seoul is like 20 miles from the border. It will be gone it a matter of 24 hours, along with at least a couple of our brigades. Their loses will be staggering too, but they have a lot more manpower that they can afford to lose, than our side does. If it starts, it won't be pretty and I while I have no doubt about the out come, I figure we will all be shocked at our causalities. Still on the other hand, I almost wish he would do something, just because they have been around for so long and been such a pain in our ass, it just be nice to see NK go away.

A shame too, It's a great round!

Amazing that he was able to actually string a couple of sentences together that made sense.

I was up at Smokey Mountain Knife Works a couple of weekends ago and they had at 20 or 30 of them. Just the cans, no donkey d... nozzles. I didn't check the price.

Sweet looking rifle, you got there, congratulations!!! When you going to shoot it?

2x20=40 not 70. The math is all wrong. -
Does YouTube pay for videos? If so my daughter and her friend are due some money!!!

They did say there was a 12 ga shotgun found in the glove compartment. He also had 70 rounds of Winchester 12 ga rounds loaded into 2 magazines... huh? Who makes 35 round magazines for a shotgun and what model is it? I might want to buy a beast like that! That's also a hell of a glove compartment! Obviously, whoever wrote that article was trying their best to make the firearms, ammunition, books about shooting and the NRA sound ultra evil. What they really came a cross as (to folks knowledgable with Firearms) was an idiot.
