  1. Anyone that votes straight line party ticket, without doing their research, deserves what they get.  Just because your a repuglican, doesn't mean you will automatically get my vote.  McCain did not get it back in 08, because of his views.  Bob Barr and the Libertarians did.  I held my nose and voted for Romney in the last election, because I'm afraid that another SCOTUS Justice will be placed on the bench by Obama and doom this country, and I wanted the best chance to stop that from happening. And sadly, I urged you all to do the same thing.   I regret doing that, since it made absolutely no difference.   As for this coming back up in the Senate, we need to keep the letters, phone calls and emails coming into our representatives, or we will be steamrolled in the Senate!  I could easily see Alexander and Corker changing sides on this, to get it done.
  2. I usually sleep on my right side.  :)  As for loaning guns, I will loan, but it will not be my best one.  I have a couple of :"loaners" for such purposes.  But if you bring it back in bad shape, you won't get another one.    As for the Springer Loaded edition, that's a great pistol!!!  It's the best pistol in my collection!  It's not a loaner!  You really should give it a good workout before you sell it off.  It will out shoot my Glock 17 if I'm doing my job with both pistols and it's just as reliable.
  3. After watching Walking Dead,  I wouldn't have another caliber other than a .22!   1. Primary:  Ruger MkII Target Pistol   2. Secondary: Ruger 10/22 rifle with hi-cap mags. or another dependable semi-auto with hi-cap mags   3. Melee: Aluminum softball or baseball bat or a 2' long piece of rebar with a duct taped handle.   Anything else is complete over kill.
  4. Alex Jones is so over the top, that even if he got something spot on, no one is going to listen to him.  He is the proverbial "Boy that Cried Wolf".  I refuse to listen to him or read anything that comes from his website.
  5. That's what happens when you work for liberals and take their money, you become like them.  Bill O'Reilly is just as bad on Gun Control.  It's all about the entertainment.  The thing is, I don't find it all that entertaining to listen to someone seriously talk about taking away my rights, as guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States of America.
  6. Here is my rule.  I consider anything used for defense , under 18" and with a blade thickness of 1/4" or less, a knife.  Anything over 18" and a blade thickness of 1/4" or more, a sword.  Swords were used as weapons and really have no other uses, while a knife can be used as a tool or for combat.  A machete could fall into the sword category, but really for combat it's a bit on the thin side and can be bent or broken very easily, where as a sword, if heat treated properly, will not, break or bend easily.  Now a good sword will flex.  But it will always come back to true, where as a machete might not due to the material and heat treatment.
  7. For a non +P revolver, you can't beat Federal Nyclads. They shoot excellent groups out of my little Colt Agent and mushroom nicely!  But they are hard to find.

    Hunger Games

Loved the books and the movie!  I thought the movie followed the book as well as any that has every been filmed.  I'm ready for the next two movies now.
  9. You should be able to purchase a good 1911 for well under a $1000.  Ruger Springfield, Remington, S&W and SIG all have great pistols well under $1000.
  10. I'd say if the truth be known, we all here at TGO, are on one of more of their lists at the SPLC.  Mr. Dees likes to put "angry white guys" like us, on lists.

    Beer on Sundays

A fine example of a stoopid law!!!
  12. Yes he was, until he made his views about the 2A known.  Then his stock dropped like a rock.
  13. Christie is no friend of ours.  And Pro 2A people should never support him for any office.

    Brother Google

Stopped using Google last year when they came out as anti 2A.  Never used Chrome.  I suspect most of the software companys are anti 2A though.
  15. Thank God The Big O is not on KnivesLiveTV!!! :
  16. And then try him for treason as well as murder!  Holder will not allow him to be sent to Gitmo though, which is what Graham was probably hinting at.
  17. You are correct!  They didn't give him a Miranda Warning.  So they can interrogate him to their hearts content!  The U.S. Attorney General at the scene confirmed it.  They don't have to in cases like this.   And now since his Royal Highness, The Big O, is about to speak, it's time to get back to Knives Live TV (Ch. 222 on DirecTV).
  18. Yes he will!  No way Eric Holder will let this out the DOJ's hands.  He will be tried in a Federal Court.
  19. If he lives and I figure he will, at this point, they will get him to talk.  I agree with TMF on this.  If there is a network, we need to roll it up and fast!  Those that wish us harm, just got a whole new plan on how to hurt us!  A plan that works!  And before you all say that it didn't really work, consider that the businesses of Boston lost an estimated 330 million dollars today, because of the citywide shutdown.  Not to mention all the man hours spent in this manhunt today, by the various Government agencies!  All for two pieces of shit, that got through!  Multiple that by ten or twenty attacks, all across the country and just imagine what would happen!   Nice to see the people cheering the police!  That was a tough job they had to do today!
  20. I'm not going to lose any sleep over her being furious.  She is a puppet.
  21. I probably would comply, but I would have misgivings without a proper search warrant.
  22. There will be a chance to bring up this bill again, as the investigation into the Boston Marathon Bombing proceeds.  There are going to be questions about where these two individuals got their firearms.   God forbid, that they were bought at a Gun Show!!!  I am hoping that the weapons they were using were stolen or purchased through an FFL. Regardless of where they got them, it will be used as a reason for more gun control. I don't think we are done with this issue yet.  Wait and see!
  23. He is in favor of what ever will get him the best ratings.  He is an ass and always has been and is no different than Peirs Morgan.
  24. A few dozen was actually 24 and one of those was a kid, that probably got drug there, by their parental unit.
  25. How hard would it have been to do that same expansion in Kentucky and Arkansas, instead of NY?  I bet it would have not only been easier, but also cheaper!  No ,Remington sold us down the river for a dollar.  So no more money from me.  Obviously, they don't need it anymore.  They got their big shiny contract from the Government.  We didn't turn on Remington, they turned on us.
