I picked a LE trade-in up back in the Winter for $299 and two extra used mags for $10 each. Great shooting pistol! I hope you find one!

Voted the first day of early voting at the City County Bldg in Downtown Knoxville. Went before the lunch crowd. I was in and out in under 15 minutes.

You know I love mine! I think it’s the best deal on the market for a Micro. I carry 3 12 rounders. Conceals perfectly for me!

I’ve never owned 40 S&W. And I don’t hold it against anyone that does. Shoot and carry what you like! I was prepared to buy this, because I remember that during COVID, 40 S&W was about the only ammo you could find. Figured it might be a good thing to get. Then someone said they had the Glock 21 LE Trade ins. That was one I always wanted. So I bought it instead of the Glock 22. I I kinda figured that’s what you were doing. So was I.

.45ACP isn’t a respectable caliber?

Just to update everyone, I got the Glock 21 and bought two additional used mags for $10 a piece. After I got the pistol out of layaway, I took it to the range. The Glock 21 and all three mags functioned flawlessly! The only knock is the NS are dead. I’ll need to replace them. I think I’m just going to put regular sights back on. This is a backpack/truck gun, so it’s not going to see the light of day very often. The life span on new NS would be very short. It’s just not worth the money to me.

While I have several “pocket” pistols and regular carry one, in the role of a security job, or if I knew that I was heading into a possible serious situation, a “pocket” pistol is not going to be my primary. One of my Glocks is going to be riding my hip. Though my Ruger LCP Max would likely be in my front pocket. ”Pocket” pistols have their place though. And I do enjoy shooting them. I’m on the hunt for a nice .32 ACP. Considering there aren’t many on the market currently, I’m starting to look at the little Beretta Tomcat. Though I’d really like to find a nice Walther PP/PPK/PPKs or Beretta Cheetah 81. I’ve also considered VZ70 or other Commblock .32, but I’m concerned about parts availability for those.

I’d also love to hear some opinions. This is on my list.

When I was in HS at Powell, in the late 70s - early 80s, shotguns in the windows of pickup trucks was a common sight in the school parking lot. I myself carried an Uncle Henry folding Hunter knife in a sheath, on my belt, daily. Try that now and you’ll get suspended if your a student.

Yassin’s business hasn’t been hurt by this. At least not at the downtown location. Had lunch from there the other day and will do so again. While I don’t agree with his opinion, I still respect his right to have it and to disagree with me. I’ve never known him to be the belligerent sort. I be I believe the protest was peaceful and nonviolent. He just refused to leave when told to do so. I will also add that he has done a lot of good in our little city in various ways.

I have both the Nemesis and the stick holster and I like them both. The Nemesis is for my little LCP Max and the Sticky holster is for my Max 9 with a RDS. The Sticky holster is one of the few made for an RDS. Another pocket holster I use if for my J-Frame S&W 442. It’s a Safariland Mdl 25.of the three, it’s is the most rigid. I have a couple of Uncle Mikes too, but never use them.

This right here! I bought my Ruger Max 9 with the CTS-1550 RDS to see if I liked it. I’ve had it several years now. I’ve had zero issues with it and I’ve never replaced the battery. The irons co-witness with the CTS-1550. I shoot the pistol with the RDS very well. I see zero reason to change it out. And I’m very happy with the setup.

Don’t you already have a Ruger Max9? Why not buy a RDS or GDS for it and see how you like it.

I’m another fan of the .32 revolver! There are several out there to chose from. Taurus as really up their game with QC, so you might look at a 327. As noted early it will chamber .32 S&W, .32 S&W Long, .32 H&R Mag and .327 Fed Mag. Charter Arms makes the Undercoverette in .32 H&R Mag. Ruger makes the LCR and the SP101 in .327 Fed Mag. S&W makes the 432 in .327 Fed Mag. All these are 6 shot revolvers. Most are under 20oz. Most have a 2” barrel. Prices start in the high 300s and gun up from there. These are current production guns, but there are a bunch of older models not made anymore in .32 S&W Long too. I recently purchased an older S&W Pre Model 30 I-Frame for $440 out the door at my local LGS. It’s a sweet heart to shot with wadcutters. A couple of years back I passed on a Rossi, because I was being cheap (and stupid), that I could have had for $300.
