I don’t have a single decent word for those two jackasses but I do know where they can stick a couple dozen of those bottles before giving the rest away.

A2?

I saw this earlier today. It boggles the mind what constitutional violations local municipalities can come up with. Of course they said they don’t intend to exercise their new self-granted powers. The banning of firearms and ammo transactions is about par for the course but the seizure of personal property is a massive threat. I imagine there is going to be a wave of such governmental hysteria sweeping the nation.

I went to WalMart, Sam’s next door, and a Kroger 3 miles away today. Not a single roll of toilet paper. No paper towels. Little to no soap. Canned food aisles decimated. No bottled water. No pasta other than really fancy stuff. No isopropyl alcohol. No cleaning wipes. No hand sanitizer. There is a full blown panic going on.

You might be overthinking this. Crush washer then flash hider. Screw it on until clocked and no more. No loctite whatsover!

area-tri-cities Gun show in Kingsport Tn
Garufa replied to gary_boom's topic in Events and Gatherings
You may jest but I bet someone will be there selling those very things. People are going to start neckbearding that stuff. -
I bet the store are running out of those as well.

I was thinking about that shortly after posting and how I could rig up a redneck bidet. I do have a short length of hose and one of those old waterbed faucet adapters somewhere .

Knox County’s first confirmed case was announced today. I stopped by Kroger on the way home and yeah, way more packed than usual. Bottled water is being limited as it was at Costco last weekend. People are hitting the canned food aisle hard. Didn’t check on T.P. I still don’t understand why people have lost their damn minds over that.

Dick's Sporting Goods pulling hunting gear from 440 more locations
Garufa replied to The Legion's topic in General Chat
People have been saying that since they started pulling guns and ammo from stores long before the “assault rifle” hysteria. They may take small, temporary hit in value, but will end up thriving as the article clearly states based on past history. There are a whole lot more parents buying sports crap for their kids than guys buying overpriced “hunting” stuff. -
9 PM for the ET folks.

Looks like a take off on an album cover. Tinihanna Meatpump would be a good name for a band, lol.

Actually, that is just the number of permits issued in Shelby in 2019. The total of permit holders there is 71,078. Still far past second place Knox which has 39,895.

Both probably. Someone’s got a knack for finding seriously fake pictures and spreading them.

The troubling case of Roosevelt Twyne
Garufa replied to Chucktshoes's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
What’s so troubling? He lives in NJ and doesn’t work for the government. -
Hard to say. My understanding is guns and boats don’t mix from all the guns lost in “tragic boating accidents”. Could be a variation on that theme. Do boats hold their value as much as the guns you would consider trading?

No experience with that particular version but the basic model (19100, slightly lighter and uglier) is just about the funnest carbine ever invented, second only to M1 Carbines. Slap a Sig Romeo 5 on top and you might find yourself never shooting another rifle again. And be ready to burn a whole lot of ammo.

Has anyone posted an actual link to the bill or however this is being conducted or did I miss it? By link I mean to the TN legislature’s website.

I did too. People always talk about using inner tubes as grip sleeves but they never say what size tube to use. It’s most vexing.

To add, there is no “DMV” in Tennessee. Y’all yankees need to get with it.
-
Of course you could claim that but it all depends on how good your attorney is and how aggressive the district attorney is.

I’m beginning to think there’s a lot of past tension that built up to today’s incident. Why was roommate’s mama, brother, and “friend” there? Why were you OC’ing? How does Apt. management assess damages on a Saturday and clear one of two residents the same day? How do you “send” someone money and expect it back the same day? There are some things going on here that don’t add up.

Did they really need to dust off Leonard's name and bring up his shenanigans?
