  1. It is a slippery slope. What happens when the next virus comes around? We’ve been subjected to a new one for years now, yet now it’s stop the world. As far as gun control goes it’s a done deal. It’s not ever going away or getting any better. No one is asking you to give up your decision making rights as a human being, just have some consideration for others and those you might come in contact with. You can decide not to frequent a business that requires what The Man tells them to do. Guess who wins.
  2. Since we’re about to bust the 80th page of this thread.... What’s with all the animosity against wearing a mask in public? I hate it, but will abide for the time being. Why start out just immediately dismissing the short-term practice as being some self-perceived violation of one’s person and liberty? Save your indignation for when a vaccine is released...and it becomes mandatory.
  3. They’d really tie my pimpin’ outfit together.
  4. “Gov. Bill Lee granted authority Friday to mayors in 89 counties in Tennessee to issue their own face mask mandates as COVID-19 cases rise statewide. The move follows a record day-over-day increase after the state health department reported 1,822 new cases. Six counties with locally run health departments — Sullivan, Knox, Hamilton, Davidson, Madison and Shelby — already have authority to issue mask mandates as needed.” https://www.knoxnews.com/story/news/politics/2020/07/03/tennessee-counties-given-ok-order-mandate-masks-governor-bill-lee/5373590002/
  5. Unfortunately, that obvious message will be lost on too many.
  6. This was addressed in the local Knoxville news yesterday. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wbir.com/amp/article/news/health/coronavirus/you-can-still-lawfully-carry-while-wearing-a-mask/51-828f7c3b-53ba-4eb6-9f47-b6db4f309430
  7. I remember when the site in question was open for anyone to browse or maybe even post. It was quite entertaining...a couple of steps down from A-list.
  8. Isn’t Blue Bloods the one with old-ass, reverse mortgage selling, Magnum P.I.?
  9. While I despise it to my core, I wear a mask going into a store. We’ll see how this works. Knox Co. is full of people running around like there’s nothing going on. That is what they wanted, as this is what they’re getting. BTW, I do have a slight have issue with all the new bureaucrats popping up not only here but across the nation making punishable regulations (laws).
  10. Try some Wolf Match Target or SK Standard Plus (same stuff ). Midrange target ammo in price, but generally excels in performance and expectations.
  11. If you had come up and called me neighbor I’d have known it was you, lol. I moved like lightning before all this crap at WM, can’t tolerate the place, now I just do it with a mask on and step livelier.
  12. Beware of anyone who addresses you as neighbor, lol.
  13. Never heard the term before but I imagine it refers to those vendors and other wandering, random, “capitalists” found at gun shows that buy low and sell high within a matter of minutes or hours.
  14. Knox’s numbers have been out of control the past couple of weeks. We were great a month or two ago. I’ll not comment on why.
  15. As close as you dare I imagine.
  16. It’s not rocket science. The things are designed to cover mouth AND nose. I’ve seen plenty of ignorant people running around wearing masks with their noses hanging out and it’s just further proof to me that we are only as strong as our weakest link....and there is no shortage of those.
  17. I’ll go as far to say that we are all being played. It’s the greatest social control experiment the world has ever seen.
  18. We don’t quit until we’re #1. It’s the American way, lol.
  19. @Erich Chances are whoever you do your daily banking with has a high finance department who would love to have more of your money. Might be worth going in and sitting down with one of their advisors and ask them what options they offer. Not saying you have to go through them or commit to anything but you might pick up some decent advice.
  20. Never heard of it. Looks like they’ve only been around a couple of years. That’s all I can offer.
  21. Not if I worked for the IRS, lol. You can stand on the bank like everybody else.
  22. Didn’t you even design an ingenious little annealing setup? I recall the threads from years ago when .300 hit the scene but am not about to go trying to find them, lol.
  23. I think tequila factories are doing the same judging from what I’ve been able to pick up. Stuff smells like a rough night out.
  24. Interesting...but it’d be a lot cooler if you had a 200’ shot tower in the back yard.
