  1. I’ve been trying to get something as simple those stupid little plastic slotted tips for a cleaning rod for a couple of months now but between Brownell’s and Midway I haven’t been able to get what I need. One has this size, but not the other, etc, etc.
  2. I kinda wish places were this creative back when I was in college, lol.
  3. I choose neither.
  4. One more reason why Trump is not some kind of Second Amendment messiah. National Reciprocity is not going to allow someone from TN to carry a gun in NY, CA, etc. It will only make it harder to carry here.
  5. No reloads allowed = better chance you might be compelled to buy their overpriced ammo. The last time I shot “factory” reloads was at an indoor range bought from the same range under different ownership a couple of years earlier. One round literally did explode in my face. Total and complete head separation. Point is, are store bought reloads somehow more safer than hand-rolled?
  6. I remember seeing a massive hunk of jacketed lead ricochet heading directly for my face at the old Coal Creek Armory, lol.
  7. I’m no commie. Live long and prosper, man.
  8. That is an option the next time you get your driver’s license renewed.
  9. That’s what I was going to suggest since the screws appear to be recessed and cutting a slot for regular screwdriver won’t work. You can also get screw extractors from Home Depot/Lowe’s, etc. If they stripped they must really be in there. Might be some kind of thread locker on them.
  10. Of the three people I know personally that got the covid, not one of them smokes nor ever did. So what’s your point?
  11. Just go ..... you know what I mean @Chucktshoes. Dammit! What an ugly game.
  12. The ignorance and selfishness of some never ceases to amaze.
  13. Totally agree with that, but you can’t pick up an SKS with one hand and get down to businesses in a situation, the M1 Carbine has the advantage there.
  14. M1 Carbines are elegant and just more funner compared to the heavy, ungainly, commie SKS’ (I own and enjoy both). I was hoping we’d never see that again.
  15. Being a big fan of the M1 Carbine I’d say get one. I’m another “get an original” guy, but I also enjoy the history and authenticity and take care of the ones I have. If new is your thing, get a new one. It might have some kind of warranty. Just stay away from some of the later production Plainfield’s, Universal’s, and Iver Johnson’s, etc. They all started out building new Carbines out of surplus USGI parts, when that ended they started cutting corners with inferior parts.
  16. Is it customary for ATF field agents to make such sweeping proclamations, regardless of being a special agent in charge?
  17. I went and got one. Did some hacking and sawing on a log. So far, so good. For $8.73 after coupon and tax it will make a fine “truck knife”.
  18. I might just head over there right now with my 20% off coupon, lol.
  19. I don’t know but me like.
  20. Hopefully this weird season will play in TN’s favor. I’ve been riding the roller coaster of UT football since 1985. Turning the schedule upside down and keeping it all conference I think is the best thing that has come out of this Covid mess. Go Vols!
  21. You don’t even gun if don’t have guns you don’t use.
  22. It’s amazing how wise those that predated some and whose words were incorporated into a certain book have fallen on deaf ears. The lessons of history are clear. We have thousands of years of experience, yet everyone want to reinvent the wheel.
  23. Yep. Strangely no Hydroxychloroquine. That Regeneron is still in clinical trials.
