  1. It sucks being stupid. If that’s the way “organized” shooting events are carried on then there needs to be a change in tradition.
  2. I’d stick to standard velocity or shorts in that thing.
  3. I really don’t care. I was hesitant about doing it and frankly, resent the whole situation and the need. But I did it anyway. Other people’s paranoia and freedom issues are theirs and theirs alone.
  4. Well, I have part 1 of the mRNA experiment coursing though my system now. I already feel my DNA being rearranged can see that tracking chip moving around in the veins closest to the skin like a mole moving through the yard.
  5. Pfizer 1 for me tomorrow.
  6. Looks like there has been no action since it was received in the Senate March 11th. https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/8
  7. I remember when everything was closed on Sunday...every Sunday of the year. It was a hard life but somehow we persevered.
  8. This sounds like a really good way to drive one’s self insane.
  9. You maintain your TN HCP for reciprocity with other states. Permits are not going away.
  10. I had no idea Iowa required a permit just to buy a handgun. Good for them!
  11. If that little fella pulls the triggers it’s going to look like a Bugs Bunny cartoon the way the barrels are plugged up.
  12. You are wrong. However @Erik88is correct in that universal background checks is the obvious easiest thing that can be passed right now. Thus the term “low hanging fruit”. You pick the apples from a tree bottom up.
  13. Wrong. The concealed handgun carry permit introduced last year requires the handgun be concealed at all times. The enhanced carry permit allows open carry.
  14. It could theoretically put a concealed carry permit holder in a curious position but I’m going to just assume they’ll be fine. I really don’t know to tell you the truth. Haven’t studied up on it.
  15. No. The new law does not take effect until July 1st, after the Governor signs it.
  16. I recently uncovered my TN Hunter Ed. handbook from 8th grade. That would be about ‘81 and I took the class at school. Before we get too excited that it was a private school in Midtown Memphis of all places, and was one of our optional “enrichment” courses at the end of the day on Thursdays or some such thing. All the girls took something else.
  17. @Worriedman Thank you for your tireless work on this specific effort and those in past years. Tennessee is becoming more reasonable every year in regards to 2A rights because of what you do. I know it can be a thankless and controversial job, but it is not a job, you truly believe and fight, when you could easily be doing something else.
  18. It sure looks like they are. Website is up and their most recent post on Facebook was last Thursday. They don't have a in-person store that I am aware of if that's what you're asking.
  19. Maybe it’s gummed up and just needs some cleaning and lubrication.
  20. I’m curious to know when paying $60 and more for some shorts became normal.
  21. If the hipster would learn how to serve a proper plate of grub that actually fills one up, they wouldn’t need to ruin it for all the country folks that like to eat animal parts.
  22. Some did require it in the past.
  23. What does that have to do with pulling some random chain on some random dock and dredging up a cache of weapons?
  24. “The Memphis City Council approved a resolution opposing a state bill that would allow residents to carry a gun without a permit.” Jeez, it’s a local resolution showing lack of support for what the State is trying to do. They’re not proposing a local ordinance. No need to cut and paste the entire TN State Code.
  25. Having dealt my Mother’s need for hearing aids, the expense of said devices, and my potential future need, it is an absolute crime that Medicare or supplemental insurance does not pay for them.
