  1. I think your friend will never find it again after sinking it.
  2. Anytime someone shoots and kills 8 people it’s going to be national news. Especially when the shooter was a white boy and the victims minorities. Go see what CNN is trying to cook up and how they’re trying to spin this.
  3. Everybody’s thumbing through The Standard Catalog right now lol.
  4. No doubt it’s a K-frame M&P but what explains the S serial number?
  5. Does it have a J in front of the serial number on the butt? That is the only number that matters. What kind of grips? Wood usually does not shatter.
  6. You could just post links to most manufacturer’s websites, especially those that make all the accoutrements.
  7. There was one many years ago. Not now.
  8. Ruger probably cooked up the MAX-9 after S&W made an announcement they had a big announcement coming.
  9. Today, Ruger unveiled the new "MAX-9" 10-round "micro" compact 9mm....https://www.ruger.com/products/max-9/models.html In the next day or so S&W will announce the M&P Shield Plus, also a 10-rounder. Both are trying to get in on the P365 and Hellcat market, finally.
  10. Decades actually and every State has some kind of requirement.
  11. And who hasn’t fondled their dueling pistols after a good measure or Manhattan made with Imperial whiskey?
  12. .357 all the way but I would be more concerned about hogs than bears.
  13. Print up a G23 and let’s see how it holds up to the mighty forty.
  14. After 30 years of living in Knoxville I have come to accept Buddy’s. It is a Knoxville outfit but has expanded to other places in ET. The meat is not bad and is the only thing I buy there but it’s damn expensive for what it is. By “meat” I mean pork BBQ as is the way. Sometimes I get a wild hair and make some Memphis style mustard slaw, get a pound of Buddy’s and some buns from the sto and have a little feast.
  15. The decades of give and take have gotten us to where we are now. It’s hard to negotiate when your back is up against the wall. There is no more negotiation. Give a little now, give a lot more later. It’s an endless cycle that will only continue until there is nothing left. This is just one of the many schemes the Dems have to restrict gun ownership.
  16. David D. of New Hampshire.
  17. I’m no numismatist and don’t know a thing about coins but that appears to be one of the most valuable of Morgan’s. Don’t get too exited about that though, I just got my info from the internets.
  18. It’s a good thing that AR’s come with adjustable sights.
  19. I don’t know what @Erik88is talking about but that ain’t no bar-b-q. It might be tasty though.
  20. Brioche bun indeed. Heresy. Did you have a latte or some fancy craft beer with it?
  21. If that’s the case there’s a Tops BBQ two blocks down the street across from Methodist hospital. My favorite location actually.
  22. It’s a good thing you’ll never find that foul abhorrence of “white sauce” in Memphis. Proper people do not slather mayonnaise on BBQ. It’s why Alabama is just wrong.
  23. Hell, just find the closest Tops BBQ (which on the low end of what is available locally) to the interstate and you’ll have better than what is available in the rest of the state. Their burgers are fantastic as well.
