  1. I alway thought about putting a load in my dad’s pipe but knew what kind of chaos that would have caused.
  2. How in the hell can one mistake their child for an intruder? Seriously, know what you’re shooting at before going Rambo.
  3. There’s one more day left in the year.
  4. I had a few of those for sure...and a Daniel Boone cap rifle with coonskin cap to boot.
  5. Now you’re speaking my language. Nothing like a good scotch to get you properly twisted.
  6. https://shootpointblank.com/transition
  7. Drive by a Kroger and get a covid shot.
  8. Apparently, you have to spend hundreds of dollars on a bottle of booze to understand.
  9. I still want to know why they called it Saint.
  10. Yeah, I’d say contact RIA before you jack up your fancy magazines. I see peening on the slide at the beginning of that scratch.
  11. Oh I know, but a fella can dream. Not that they would try to reproduce the 1907 but it would be kinda cool...as long as they don’t “Remington” it like that 51 abomination.
  12. Indeed...as long as it’s exactly like it used to be, lol.
  13. Sorry to hear that. Always enjoyed drooling over his collection and listening to him talk about what he had. He always had stuff you only see in books.
  14. How can you tell that?
  15. More specifically, .300 Blackout created from Lake City 5.56 NATO brass.
  16. This is the truth. Fried Turkey is delicious, easy to make, and expensive. You’ll need at least $30 worth of oil...and that’s for a peanut oil blend. Pure peanut costs a lot more if you can find it. That’s what’s used since it has a low flash point. Then you’ve got the frier. Nothing but a great big massive pot on a stand. Maybe $40. And a propane tank. Once all that is assembled you have to be more than careful not to burn the house down or send yourself to the hospital. It is worth it though.
  17. We’ve got enough Michigan problems to deal with here already.
  18. Chinese guns are illegal.
  19. There always seems to be a common denominator in such heated situations. Two guys being played by the object of dispute. There are plenty of fish in the sea. No need lose your mind, and life, over a temporary “relationship”.
  20. The unfortunate truth. Me, I have no problem admitting ignorance of something...and dismissing those who don’t know what they’re talking about.
  21. Mighty bold to bring a single-stack micro 9 to the market when everyone else has upped the ante with increased capacity in the same sized package.
  22. True, but then again I expect people working in gun stores to either know what they’re talking about or refrain from blathering. It’s not hard at all to admit you don’t know rather than trying to show off.
  23. I would learn toward Sheriff. Take that as you will as I don’t NFA.
  24. If Ruger was smart they’d start cranking out Marlin.357’s. Marlin had just retooled for those and started delivering again after years of substandard production and low availability. Surely, I’m not the only one that sees a great demand for those and would actually like to walk into a gun store and buy one at a reasonable price.
  25. It’s not just squirrels, mice are hell on vehicles as well. Had one get into the cabin of my 4Runner a few months ago. Have no idea how but the little #### chewed a little hole in one the interior panels and had a pile of eaten nuts under the back seat. After I handed that, with the help of good old Victor, went to change the air filter a few weeks later. There was a huge pile of nuts in the air intake. My mechanic said they’ve been dealing with a lot of rodent damage lately. I guess with more people working from home and cars sitting for longer periods they have more time to get up in there.
