All I know is that there is really not a general standard for AR-10’s as there is for 15’s. If you’re wanting to build one compatibility of components is something to consider.

Cabeals/Bass Pro have always been higher than a cat’s back but prices are way up across the board for real wood and steel (and brass). For one example, go look at Ruger’s website. The current MSRP prices listed are beyond astronomical for things that are not plastic.
