Good. Glad he's willing to make things right. One word of caution though: I would ask for the firing pin to be replaced, not the bolt. Enfield bolts are serial numbered along with the receiver and barrel. Look on the back of the bolt handle. Is there a number there? Does is match your receiver? In other words if you put a whole new bolt in you may want to get it headspaced.

What's on top of the receiver just forward of the bolt and also on the left side? Any other marks? I never even heard of a 358 until now. If you've got an 8mm bullet or .30 (just for testing purposes) and stick it in the end of the barrel does it swallow it? There's a big difference between 8mm and 35.
