  1. That ghetto-blaster is defective.
  2. Does anyone have any experience with the Heritage "Rough Rider" .22 Single action convertibles (.22 s, l, lr or magnum)? Regardless of the unfortunate name, Gander Mountain has a bunch of them for $199.95. Don't think I would ever get one just wondering how they size up to a Ruger.
  3. Youtube appears to have some technical difficulties. Can't get to their site. All good now.
  4. The perfection of that hole appeals to me in a modern art, power of physics kinda way. TJ, name the time and place and I'll be more than happy to punch some holes in those plates. Meanwhile, I'm gonna see if I can't find some 3/8-1/4" plates to properly "experiment" with testing various calibers at various distances. Any ideas on where to get that stuff in Knoxville? Scrap metal places?
  5. The Knoville shows, Expo or Chilhowee Park are pretty big.
  6. Guns shows are hit or miss. All depends on what you're looking for. There are of course lots of guns and deals can be found. If you're in the market for a brand new Glock, XD or M&P you can save a few $$ at the show. If you hit the right table. I always go to the shows. Why, I don't know because I like old stuff and it get's harder and harder to find at a reasonable price. For some reason, people are getting just a little too proud of what they're trying to sell and won't work on a price with you. Then again, there are some that will.
  7. I wasn't worried. He was shooting those old pooters. Now that buckshot was another matter altogether. Wow!
  8. When I do my part, this is the most accurate gun I've ever shot. Used it for my carry class and left no x-ring!
  9. If I'm not mistaken the Stoeger O/U's are made in Turkey. Not that it matter's, they are of fine quality. Benelli is the company that owns the name. Auburn, are you specifically looking for an O/U shotty or just a shotgun? 'Cause the last time I was there they still had NEF Parder Pump 12 ga's for 199.95, if you are bent on buying from Gander.
  10. I was going to post up my Baby Eagle .40 but Trekbike beat me to it! However, mine's all steel. Had it out today and with the help of the others TGO's at the ET hootenanny finally figured out where the brass goes. About 10 yards @ 4 o'clock, from the shooter's perspective.
  11. What stockpile? If I need ammo Wal-Mart is just a few minutes away. But if you're in the need for some good cans to store your hoard in check here... http://www.govliquidation.com/auction/endecaSearch?cmd=keyword&N=0&Ntk=P_Category_Id&Ntt=7549&category1_munged=7549
  12. Yep. We had a great time. Great day for shooting, not a cloud in the sky. Mike.357 gave a demonstration in trick shooting by showing how you can shoot a spinner and not make it spin!
  13. I'm gonna kick him square in the nuts if he's that close. There's no block for that. End of threat.

Well if you're already in Cleveland it's only one hour to the North Store....
  17. If you feel that your life is threatened then you may be considered justified in whatever action you take. However, the law will have the final determination of whether or not you made the correct decision. That doesn't really help, just my .
  18. Nice shootin'. I do have more fun with simpler guns. Pull the trigger and hit the target. That's all I need out of the game.
  19. I'm in. Rain just makes it an adventure.
  20. I will have my 91/30, complete with bayonet attached, up at Norris tomorrow for the shoot. Primarily as a convenience. I can just sit there and poke holes in the target and change them out without firing a shot.
  21. 2 hours to go according to Ruger's countdown clock on their website.
  22. Come on now, Matt.
