  1. I too was skeptical about the tool. Glad it worked out. So was the remaining case split all the way up to the mouth or was it intact?
  2. Since this is my first Prvi Partizan ammo, just had to investigate. Lifted this from their website: "You are preparing for hunting. You know that fresh air, untouched nature and hidden animals are waiting for you. You are packing your things. The box of Prvi Partizan ammunition is also there, your true friend who has never let you down, you know that for sure. You are ready now. This ammunition has gained thousands and thousands of trophies until now, there is at least one waiting for you." That gibberish has nothing to do with .380, but it still sounds mighty triumphant! http://www.prvipartizan.com/
  3. I am unequaled in vocalization. In the shower.
  4. Still waiting on the punch-line here with all dookie talk. This is better than the Science or Discovery channels! Never contemplated the "septic process" but I understand and am intrigued. However, when I flush....it's gone forever.
  5. That is how our Planet of the Apes will begin. Baby steps....

    Looking for 2 guns

You may be right. Just know that there have been some sweet S&W's that I would have liked, but I'm no lady. Far from it. BTW, we're not talkin about pink guns or anything like that.

    Looking for 2 guns

My advice is to look for 442/642's that are non "LS". I carry a 442 that is more than adequate for the job. A .357 in that size is, in my opinion, absurd. Plus if you every want to sell, trade, etc. a Smith with that branding on it, you won't have too many takers.
  8. Didn't someone have Carcano ammo on Pay It Forward recently?
  9. Hooters. Hooters. Hooters. July 14 also happens to be bike night at Hooters on K-Pike.
  10. No sleep tonight. That conundrum is going to haunt your dreams.
  11. The kicker is...that's a steel case, or what's left of one. If the commies would have made proper brass cases you'd probably be back in business.
  12. Had a great time shootin' & meetin', although I still don't know who all was there! Thanks BigJ45 for having us all out! You've got a great setup there. Hope you'll let us come out again.
  13. Try flooding the chamber with oil for a while. Something like WD-40 or Kroil (got some if you want to try) that penetrates and maybe can get under the shell piece. Then I'd attach .45 caliber bore brush to a length of cleaning rod and affix that to a drill and try to ream that thing out. Might try plugging the barrel just in front of the chamber with a big wad of patch and see if you can get a pool of oil built up in the chamber. I'm sure you're already going down that route.....
  14. That's right. Mike's gotta a fully 1911. Helluva a thing to watch.
  15. Had the same experience last week. Very light. Smooth action. Not quite as ugly in person, but still an abomination. Rattled like he||, even unloaded.
  16. Excellent! One of the biggest things I miss about Memphis is the storms. They are tremendous. I like weather! My dumb-az usually goes outside when that stuff happens.
  17. I bought a case of the Czech stuff from Aim a month or so ago. Comes in a very nice crate. AIM 7.62x54R 7.62x54R
  18. The Firestorm 1911 is made in the Phillipines, as are RIA's, American Classics, and Charles Daly's. Gotta be the same factory. Yes, most of the Firestorm pistols are Brazilian or Argentinian, Bersa actually. But who knows anymore!
  19. Hung Fu! That's completely tasteless for at least two reasons.
  20. Most likely so. However, you'll notice the Firestorm uses much bigger .45 rounds.
  21. We've come along way since the DW revolver days. I don't know who actually makes these 1911's but it's a CZ operation.
