  1. I can't imagine why anyone would live out in the suburbs either.

With a hamburger and char-grilled Nathan's hot-dog in my belly (for now, there's alot more to eat later), West Knoxville sounds like a battle ground. Now that it's dark, going out to join the neighbors for a little celebration. Did the right thing and read the Declaration of Independence this morning. That's what is all about, right? Now it's time to celebrate. Just want to wish everyone a Happy Independence Day and hope we all remember what happened in 1776, and why.
  3. True dat. Dang Nazi's! Been lookin' over my should for since '67.
  4. Log Cabin or Mrs. Butterworth's?
  5. How do we reconcile the fact that several of us where shooting communist guns of oppression? And enjoying them! I think we all offset that with enough M1, M1 carbine and AR fire. Not to mention Rugers, S&W's, SA pistols, etc.
  6. I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a Hamburger today.
  7. Actually, my 91/30 shoots 4-6 in. to the right w/o bayonet. Dead on with pig-sticker.
  8. I learned along time ago not to do that.
  9. How's Lisa Franks' leg?
  10. The Moon is blue and pixies are dancing with chipmunks on the lawn.
  11. There's some excellent information in that post but I'm out of breath. Can you hook a brother up with some paragraphs?
  12. That's cool. Bears rock.
  13. Please, no pictures, hold your applause...Well OK, go ahead! I was on my game today. Very satisfying. Now the next umpteen times I go out to shoot will just be wasting ammo.
  14. My ego was already inflated enough from my superb marksmanship, now my head is swelling even greater! You know I hit that plate about 10 times with my trusty old Smif & Western model 10(-13). From a highly steady rested postition.
  15. FYI, that Czech stuff has a tendency to split cases from time to time as I discovered today. Not a problem for me. Just a Public Service Announcement.
  16. I had a great time! Nice to meet billofrightsguy representin' Middle TN and shootin' with hkusp40cal. If the grill wasn't heating up I would go back up there right now. Mighty fine afternoon. Here's what's left of our 100yd. 1/4" steel plate:
  17. If you're just getting started, don't need a trimmer, micrometer or deburring tool. Avoid range brass if it's .40 cal. Might be from a Glock. You can find a Lee kit for $100 or so that has everything to GET YOU STARTED. Lovingly hand-crafting every load comes later, unless you've got a lot of time on your hands. Bullets, powders and primers....that's a whole different thing!
  18. Best beware of all the stuff Google puts out.
  19. Wow! Thought it was a .38! Here's a write-up I found. It goes for several pages... Smith & Wesson's .32-20 M&P
  20. Nice Smith!
  21. The Outpost is a vendor here on TGO. Why don't you PM and ask?
  22. The Museum of Appalachia also has a big hootenanny on the 4th. I think it's usually a big deal. May cause some added traffic issues.
  23. Well, first off I'd grab that leg, pull his ass out of the car in one swift motion, then deliver a beat-down.
  24. We're moving on up! So can I have Boone's Farm and the Mad Dog sent right to my door? Have never ordered wine online (busta rhyme) but I went to wine.com today and the first thing they ask is where it's shipping to. TN was an option. The prices were not. When we get our wine on around here it's usually of the Blackstone Merlot variety. You know, the $10 stuff.
