Gun show might have ac but there’s still plenty of hot air being blown.

Monarch steel cased 7.62x39 Berdan or Boxer Primed?
Garufa replied to scatman's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
7.62x39 is not exactly scarce...yet. -
Honestly, with all the time involved in figuring out who to chop it without jacking it up, and waiting for who knows how long, finding a replacement may be the way to go. There’s no shortage of used barrels out there.

I applaud your efforts @StephenB. Maybe you should send a copy of the flow chart to all representatives and senators in state government to help them understand what a quagmire of laws they’ve come up with. Maybe an illustrated picture will get through to them.

Made a lot of shotguns. Do you have a specific model? Just buy a new barrel.

Lake City ammo too dangerous for civilians

I wonder how long it will take for LC sourced 5.56 to skyrocket in price and dry up? This evening, tomorrow? -
My fascination with last night’s Memphis weather in Knoxville is done. It’s worse this evening. If I had a bit more privacy and less bugs that heat would be all I’m wearing outside.

Locusts could probably learn a thing or two from “people”.

No, it’s not. But it does need to be addressed. The last time I checked the population is not decreasing, demand is only growing for resources, and no one wants to come to an equitable solution to ease us into some kind of sustainability. Buy electric cars now is as equally ignorant as drill, baby, drill.

Nuclear is probably the most regulated thing in the U.S., even more than people, lol.

It really all depends. Don’t know what the current SKS market is but it’s not worth a penny more than one in original configuration, much less actually to someone who appreciates such things the way they were made before bubba got a hold of it.

I have to admit being Memphis raised I do miss 88 degrees and oppressive humidity at 9:30 pm...every once in a while. But this is ridiculous for East Tennessee.

Boresight users: chamber boresight vs universal.

That exact same procedure works with an AR. Just take the upper off and set it on a rest of some kind. It’s not all that difficult. -
Maybe they’ll get the swamp ass so bad they'll realize the error of their ways and move on elsewhere.

Interesting. Navy Special Type 99. Barrel and bolt were steel with bolt locking into the chamber area of barrel. Receiver cast iron.

I wonder what gang these upstanding 14 and 11 year olds belong to?

Arisakas are the strongest bolt action military rifles ever made...metallurgically.

The AR and it's 223, will blow a leg or head right off!

I’m pretty sure a rifle round will split a person’s head wide open, especially a little kid’s, even to the point of leaving nothing left that’s identifiable other than a chin. -
Were they being sold at typical used prices or at a cost befitting a rental gun which has seen untold thousands of rounds?
-
Do ranges actually sell rental guns and make it known they are more than just “used”?
-
It’s Chattanooga you’re thinking of @Grayfox54, not Knoxville.

Why remove it? Share your knowledge with others who might seek the same information in the future.

I don’t care how anyone swings but reserve the right to ridicule their lifestyle choices. If “tactical” lever guns rev one’s engine then more power to ya! Might be the only option left within a generation or two. Best learn how to work them slick like a semi-auto, otherwise they have no use.
-
They understand it all too well and that’s where we are now. Guns were not designed to punch holes in paper, therefore any argument that they have a useful purpose for that is full of holes. You just justified their entire argument.

How much of that domestically pumped oil is exported? I know oil is a commodity and all but wouldn’t our own oil, refined in our own refineries kinda help the situation? Silly question I know, but I’m still an idealist and understand nothing produced locally is cheaper.
