Yesterday I received a new Lee carbide die set from Midway and fired up the old Rockchucker press I made my parents buy me when I was a smart-ass little 12 year old gun freak. Using the shell holder that came with the Lee kit I resized about 500 rounds of 38 brass last night (got a little excited, haven't done it in years) and ended up with about 20-25 Winchester shells that would not go in the holder at all. Had several more that took some persuasion. Pulled out the old RCBS shell holder (from back in the day, have an old set of dies) and they fit right in. What's up with that? BTW, care to share any 38 recipes? I'm getting back into the reloading business.

If guns were made illegal 99% of the population of this country (and gun forums) would turn them in either voluntarily at a collection point or when the law comes knocking on the door. The remaining, roughly 3 million (1%) of the population, would either make or break a new society. Big talk is just that - talk...until the Man comes knocking on the door. It came from the factory like that. There's no way the Glock did it. Looks like a round slipped through the QC process. It's been known to happen. Make sure you report it to Blazer and get some free stuff.

It won't happen anytime soon so there's no reason to speculate.

The serial numbers were required in the past but I thought that was done away with last year? Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

It is as described, a 10/22 duded up to look like an AR. You do get the look and feel of a 5.56/.223 AR but not the power. Personally, I would just buy an AR and get a .22 conversion kit. BTW, I have never fired one.

Wish I had taken my class there. The instuctor Mike Lett, is also the chief firearms trainer for the KCSO. Know several people who have taken the class there and all had a good experience. Lett also has the best prices on new pistolas at the Knoxville gun shows.

That dimple actually serves a purpose. It is part of the original JMB mag design to help prevent the last round in the mag from jamming the gun. Something to do with the last round having less spring tension to keep it in place (or something to that effect). As the slide travels forward on the second to last shot it could cause the last round in the mag to move forward slightly possibly causing a FTF as the cartridge is already to far forward to load properly.

That gun is not rated for +P ammo. I would not use any in it, while others might tell you only in moderation.

Doesn't matter how much lipstick you put on a pig...it's still a pig. But it does look kinda fast.

You did try some different ammo, right? Not knocking The Armory but machining seems drastic based on the known facts.
