I could not agree with you more. We have something really great up there but it is getting overrun with retards. While I don't agree the rates went up this year over that incident, which the LEO who was issuing my permit described to me (dumb-ass AR kid who talked mom into taking him up there, shot tracer and set the woods on fire. Tickets were issued.), I don't mind paying the price one bit. I really would hate to think that all of our talking about that great place has recruited a bunch of fools. Therefore, I will no longer discuss the place. Edit to add: my comment is not directed toward any one specific person, but as word gets around, whether through word of mount or however, you get more dolts. Just my opinion and it ain't my range but I sure do love it up there.

The moral of the story is....don't trade in guns and expect any kind of deal. Those 65's will probably have a sticker put on them of at least $300-$350. No different than trading in a car or anything else, but it is sickening when you see it in person.

Lots of water before going to bed to prevent the headache. If belly problems are an issue a McDonald's double-cheeseburger (if it's lunchtime) or two will set you right. If you happen to be up in the morning a nice sauage, egg & biscuit or two helps. Grease is your friend in trying times. I undertand not smoking is a sure way to avoid a hangover. Thanks. Prior to last week is was just a run of the mill 10/22 that I've had since about 1979 or whenever I was in 6th grade. Have had the scope on there for some time but may need to stick with the see-through mounts as they are tall and the stock has a freakishly high comb. Last year put in a Volquartsen hammer and bolt release. Last week added the new barrel (Adams & Bennett), stock (Boyd's Blaster), Volquartsen target trigger and the best 10/22 upgrade of all time, a Tactical Solutions magazine release. That thing is awesome. The only other thing I plan to do is get Volquartsen extractor. That barrel has an extremely tight chamber and the original extractor is just not up to the job.

BBQ is not saucy. It's slow-cooked meat. Sauce is optional, unless you're cafeteria-style "BBQ". It's not easy to have a favorite BBQ place in Knoxville. The pickings are slim.
