  1. You're gonna need to put some lipstick on. Even then no way.
  2. Maybe someone should buy the place.

    Big Brother

I do not watch it. Would rather stick bamboo shoots under my toenails, lay down and die while thinking about how society was about 40 years ago.
  4. I'll be there I guess at the usual time. Haven't had a show around here in like 2 months.
  5. Well hellfire. I pm'd Mike the 357 & OS about the show this weekend, OS's mailbox was full, so I axed The 357 to shout out to OS, since I'm too lazy to call. Looks like he is too.
  6. Great clip. I wish my ancestors had M1 repeaters like in the video. Things would be a lot different now.
  7. Ammotogo is good to go. Have ordered from them a few times. Shipping may be a bit high as they are in Texas.
  8. Saturday at the Expo.
  9. It is a full-bodied choice, despite the critics.
  10. What is this pride you speak of?
  11. White Castles have the holes so the whole frozen patty is thoroughly "cooked" using the steaming method. Krystal's have no such holes.
  12. I will be having a sack load of succulent Krystals tonight! The only thing they do not have that White Castle does is tasty onion rings. Go Mustard!
  13. Like what was for dinner.
  14. I demand that Academy opens up in Knoxville.
  15. Do ya'll know what goes into fast food chili? Yesterday's burgers. The last bowl I ever ate from Krystal had half a patty in it.
  16. Yep, it's too hot up in the mountains
  17. Well, since you're close...the US had millions of rounds of '06 still left over from WWI so McArthur, who had a say in such matters (I'd need to pull a book out to know his position at the time) nixed it. In the 1930's and before, following the lead of the Europeans, the US was experimenting with smaller caliber rifles. In the teens the British originally designed the P-14 Enfield (US M1917) for a .27 caliber round, but war and inventory changed things.
  18. The US Rifle Caliber .30 M1, commonly known as the M1 Garand was originally designed to fire a .276 caliber cartridge. Why was the caliber changed? .....and who ordered that change?
  19. Well that was too easy. You win and may pick whatever you like off of the prize table. Yes it would, unless you're trying to live the Lynyrd Skynyrd dream.
  20. It is well known that the .357 Magnum is based on the .38 Special cartridge and the .44 Magnum based on the .44 Special. The .38 and .44 Special cartriges have the capacity to hold the powder charge used in the Magnum calibers. Why are the Magnum cases longer? First correct answer wins...nothing actually, maybe bragging rights or satisfaction in passing on some knowledge. I know the answer, do you?
  21. I have never fired a Sig 250. Carry on.
  22. Them drawers are about the right size.

    Smith 642

I great gun, although I prefer the 442 (blue version). Very realiable and easy to conceal, depending on how she would carry. Not easy to master, it does take a little practice, but once you get the hang of it is very accurate.
  24. I think you may have it all figured out by now, but I'm chime in any way. 1) You cannot only buy old surplus guns and have them shipped to your door, but any commercially manufactured gun over 50 years old. 2) Correct. 3) No, the C&R license is strictly for personal use. 4) Nope. You are allowed to dispose of items in your collection. 5) The C&R license is to maintain one's personal collection, not to buy guns for other people. That could be considered business or even a straw purchase in the eyes of the law and spirit of the license.
  25. Well, Jess01999 got up there before sunrise. I came along about 10 and mr.ak47 showed up shortly after that. Had a great time.
