  1. Bet your attorney got you out if it.
  2. Rock on Hippie. I love the smell of sage sticks too.
  3. That makes sense then as many of the Engineers I know are contrary to common sense. BTW, if you put two f's in professor, points will be deducted.
  4. Are you supposed to clean a shotgun?
  5. What class is this for anyway?
  6. Don't do it! You'll fall into Utopia and there's no coming back.
  7. Darn Skippy! I am by no means an expert, but I do know something about Garands and mil-surps in general. You might want to check the CMP forum or gunbroker and find either an M1C or M1D (which is gonna cost ya) that was originally drilled & tapped if you want a collector's piece or find a Garand made by Springfield Armory in the past few years and have your way with it. Have you considered and M1A? You'll have the same amount of $ into when done?
  8. My setup is for Cichlids, South American. That explains it.
  9. How would you attach a scope to it? I know you're not going to drill and tap an original, right?
  10. That's a good question. buttonhook, I can supply a live surplus x54r or x39 if you like. But I ain't gonna mail 'em.
  11. You have no 7.62x54r or 7.62x39 on that list. Remind me and I'll save a box of them after the next range trip.
  12. If you know any other people around campus like that I can trade an entire aquarium, light, stand, pump & all for that kind of rifle. You can get a decent scope for around $100 or less. Although you might not be the coolest kid on the sniper block, it should be functional. Check out Sportsmans's Guide
  13. Sounds like a great project. I have quite an assotment of old, obscure and unique bullets that I used to pick up at flea markets and gun shows as a kid...back when you could actually find that kind of stuff. I recall the collection includes and 8 GA shotgun shell, a 16 round box of Nazi 9mm, various large bore rimfire cartridges and other oddities. All loaded. Hope it's still in my Mother's attic somewhere. Now at the range I still pick up odd calibers shells that I do not, nor ever will, have a gun for. Makes a nice little display.

    An Alf Pog?

Anyone over the age of 30 that knows wtf these Pogs are has some 'splainin' to do.
  15. That CZ-82 in your avatar would make a fine carry peice...if you can find a holster.
  16. I hear people rave on and on about Hi Point customer service. Lifetime warranty. Send it back and they'll make it right.
  17. Never looked at it that way Titan...was there and recall the day. Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of RIA's. Have a compact tactical myself that is flawless and would put up against any Kimber or other high dollar brand in the functionality and accuracy department. Get a piece of the Rock. Seems like I've heard that somewhere before. Mike, if you are satisfied with the reliability of your particular Rock then carry it.
  18. Get a C&R license and forget the stores in Knoxville. Order directly from AIM, SOG, etc.
  19. It is indeed a butchered US M1917 or British P14 action (same thing, same manufacuters, originally different calibers). Are there any marking on the bolt? Think I saw one but could not make it out. What is under the scope mount? Chances are highly likely it is what's left of an Eddystone, Remington or Winchester M1917 (the American Enfield) made during WWI. Manufactur's name will be under that forward mount. Many, many of the rifles were sporterized or rechambered for magnum cartridges as it is an extremely robust action. History.....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1917_Enfield
  20. Ask her how she feels about getting raped.
  21. Stick with the SP. I've seen your RIA double-tap a couple of times already, if that gun was 100% with all types of ammo I'd say use it...if you can get used to cocked & locked.
  22. Adrian Legg is most impressive as well.
  23. Jimmy Page. Hammer of the Gods.
  24. It's all a matter of opnion my man. I and II where put out within the same year and are heavily bluesly...par for the British bands of the time. III which many people hate, but is actually one of the best, was recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis. After that they blew the doors off the rock scene.
