Thanks to Mr. Shoot I stand corrected. Went back and did some homework and recitified my disremeberance of the City of Knoxville & Haslam's actions. Maybe posting this will help me remember some basic things before going to the range and help some others out to. Sometimes I leave the house just a little to fast and forget some thing that need to be done. 1) Tighten every single screw on the gun. Especially scope mounts and action/stock screws. 2) Put the spotting scope in the car before anything else.

Any and all posts or accusations that Haslam tried to "ban guns in parks" or voted to do so are absolutely wrong. When "guns in parks" was passed by the state with the option for local municipalities to opt out Knoxville already had an ordinance on the books that prohibits firearms in those areas. Failure to comply is a misdemeanor offense, and still is. Mayors do not vote in passing or rejecting any ordinances.

A whole lot of Republicans help put Bredesen in office. He is not a flaming liberal but quite moderate. Other than his vetoing guns in restaurants and some questionable relations with THP I think he's done a decent job.

I'm seeing the same thing. They appear to be having "technical difficulties" as the pixelation keeps changing. On the real CBS featuring Ole Miss/Arkansas the picture is crystal clear.

I saw those today on my regular visit. Doesn't really float my boat. They've been messed with and 11mm Mauser ammo is pretty much non-existant. But that's just who I am. Would be kinda cool to have a movie gun though.

This guy has a couple parts you might need. OEM Remington...1903 & 1903 A3 Collector Rifle stocks. Just not a stock.

I hope you can restore that rifle back to the way it was meant to be. You'll definitely need a new stock, handguard, stock bands, upper band, etc. But the parts are out there. A very worthy endeavor. FYI, looks like a December '43 make.

You'll need everything listed here...Eligibility Requirements They should have ammo as well. You can check the CMP forum for the store reports many post up to kinda gauge what's going on, although what's in stock can change at any time. I have yet to make the pilgrimage.
