  1. Of the two choices offered meth heads. In actuality I am more concerned with the presciption pill addicts. Violence over pills is all the rage now in East TN.
  2. That is essentially what it all boils down to. You can even include University PD's in on that as well. Regardless of the agency, if they start chasing, you will be caught.
  3. I was gonna say something but...
  4. Whatever, Yoda.
  5. One highlight of chaos day.....when Mike.357 says, "Hey, there's a fire". Somebody's "empty" propane tank out at 125 yards lit up. Burned for a minute then the next shot extinguished the flame. Pretty cool actually.
  6. You were rocking the 45. Shooting better with it than the plastic fantastic. From what I saw. I see one in your future.
  7. Erik can't shoot for **** but I did get to fire his new 26 today and was impressed. Not quite what I expected, i.e. the small grip always concerned me, but no troubles! It's a Glock. Shoots and handles like one. BTW ryan02, nice choice. Seems to be a great gun.
  8. Apparently the 450 rnd pack is ETA March! I'm a member of SG and all but don't trust them as far as I can spit. Ordered a case of "Albanian brass-cased" x54r from them several months ago. Got Russian steel-cased, but at a very nice price. Ordered some of this Yugo stuff shortly after. It finally came...all 450 rounds plus about 80 Hungarian (or Polish) tracers.
  9. Too bad, so sad. I have my stash.

    GUN STORE RANT

Ranting about gun stores does no good unless you name the place.
  11. If the range has a problem with steel core ammo which is most likely the case, check this surplus ammo out.... 15 Rds. 7.62x54r M30(j) 182 Gr. Ammo, Rifle Ammunition, Military/Surplus at Sportsman's Guide Yugo lead-core (does NOT attract a magnet) heavy ball and brass-cased. Very accurate stuff. Still corrosive so you'll need to clean accordingly.
  12. OK. I like the rifle and idea. Do not like the single stack mag, laminate stock or plastic trigger housing/mag well....but I really like it. Reminds me a lot of this....
  13. Crazy is crazy. Plain and simple.
  14. Well, I survived the New Year's Eve shoot at Norris. The place was utter chaos. Must have been 50 people there for the 8 benches on the rifle side and 2 on the pistol side. Folks tripping over each other to get a shot in. Regardless, had a good time. Near the end of the day when the crowd was thinning some manic bird dog showed up running apey all over both ranges. Up and down the berm between the two, up the ridge behind the back stop. Over and over and over in great big circles. Must have wandered up into the hills hearing the gun shots and thinking it needed to retrieve something. Dog was confused. OS finally lassoed it and got a hold of the owner who came and picked the insane beast up.
  15. So how does one magazine feed better than another? Take for example the RIA. It comes with ACT or Mec-Gar Italian made mags, at least my compact model did. For extras I bought the exact same thing and amazingly they work perfectly. My SA...well Chip McCormick are OEM so I bought an extra one of those. Runs like a champ.
  16. Maybe "Moonbattery" is a clue regarding the veracity of whatever is being offered on that site.
  17. Regardless, I'm still curious to know why one would need to put loaded ammo in a tumbler or what not. Just shoot it. Ugly rounds work just as well as pretty ones.
  18. This. Don't rack the slide. Hold it and push the gun forward with strong hand.
  19. Again, it is a P225. Did you look for that on the Fobus website? Fobus Holster: SIG/SAUER 220/ 225/ 226/ 228 /245 - PADDLE HOLSTER
  20. Since this has gone on for so long and there is no point to read it...did anyone say put the damn gun down...before the law rolls up? That is the one and only answer.
  21. That is so Caveman.
  22. Why?
  23. I will most likely be there.
  24. You scored. The P6 is nothing more than the German police version of the P225.
