    Hiking Pistola?

If you are going to carry while hiking do so because of the two-legged varmits. There is a greater chance of getting hit by lighting than being attacked by a wild animal of any kind that prefers to steer clear of people, and they all do, rightfully so.

    Hiking Pistola?

He obviously hikes out West. Black panthers are the problem in Tennessee.

    Hiking Pistola?

Can't beat a Glock 23 strapped to the hip.
  4. Where there is smoke, there is often fire.
  5. It's a bullet in such condition it is impossible to determine the type. Caliber maybe, but nothing else. Might make someone a fine banjo pick.
  6. In what condition is the stock now? Refinished? Stained? Shellac is the traditional finish.
  7. I must be a lucky man because my Mark II Target needs no modifications. Bought it in '92 or so and all I've done is put some fancy thumbrest grips on it. The trigger is light as a feather and the accuracy is ridiculous.
  8. Here we go again.
  9. This! Get the S&W letter. This gun deserves it. http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Category4_750001_750051_757825_-1_757814_757812_image

  12. Gun shows put the anti's in a tizzy.
  13. I'm gonna need to try some of that Ballistol. Just put it on my wish list at Midway. From just a few minutes of research it sounds like it does everything except serve you dinner.
  14. You say you took it apart like it's nothing. Very nice pistol!
  15. Way to go Tom! Now, MikePapa, what are you doing on Perez Hilton's website?
  16. If you are shooting surplus ammo you will need to some a little something extra BEFORE the Hoppe's. The primers in surplus ammo are corrosive and if not cleaned correctly the salts will remain in the bore and attract moisture resulting in corrosion. It not hard to clean at all. Some run a few patches of Windex with ammonia through the bore 1st (it's the water that dissolves the salt). Some pour hot boiling water throught the barrel, others use hot soap and water. I've used all the methods and they all work. Just pick your favorite, make sure the barrel is dry afterward, then proceed with Hoppe's or whatever you like. They key is to get rid of the salt. Water dissolves salt. Petroleum-based products do not.
  17. Oh, brother.
  18. That what about 10 years ago.
  19. The rifle is cheap and accurate enough for what it is. If fires a full-sized cartridge and surplus ammo is readily available for less than $.20/round shipped. They are just fun.
  20. .22/32 Kit gun maybe?
  21. If you open the cylinder are the any numbers, like model #, on the front frame strap? A picture or two would help.
  22. Much like the handgun carry laws in this state.
  23. Next on Entertainment Tonight..."I shot Kim Kardashian's stalker".
  24. Go with her, have fun and IGNORE the beggars. I mean do not look them in they eye and don't get offended when they start cussing as you walk off.
