  1. For what? Clamp a light onto?
  2. Nice score. Numrich should have the four parts you'll need to make it whole...Bayonet lug, pin, front band and spring.
  3. This thread cracks me up. What would the nieghbors think if I sat out on the back deck one evening shooting at bees...with a big ass gun? I need to go load up some insect rounds.
  4. You need to learn how to drive.
  5. Snakes. Looks like some nuts that a squirrel or chipmunk has gnawed on.
  6. Did that come with a reach around?
  7. I assume they have the Interweb in Nashville. You could get some there.
  8. Glory Jalapeno!
  9. FMJ batteries are best in that size.
  10. Huckabee is an idiot. Beck's hystrionics are too much as well. I forget the precise reason (quote) I can't stand Huck but it has something to do with some religious comments made during his last campaign. His holier-than-thou attitude just doesn't cut it and is quite unacceptable.
  11. But AA's will work just fine.
  12. Shoot with the bayonet on and don't forget to clean it just as you would the bore after shooting surplus corrosive ammo. It will rust if not. Have fun!
  13. Wheelbarrow maybe? Congrats!
  14. That is a completely acceptable price.
  15. Only the laminate stock versions are. I expect the others to go quick.
  16. It's a po' man's phaser.

I am by no means an expert but there is alot of information out there. Google "how to shoot a pistol" and read up. Tons of information out there. Just stay away from all the tactical crapola and learn the basics. This is one of the first things you'll find and it's a decent start...How to shoot a handgun accurately by Massad Ayoob Issue #85 It's easier with someone coaching you but with enough study you'll eventually pick it up.

You might want to start correcting your shooting style based on that statement.
  19. Aim Surplus just posted up some M44's. Regular and laminate. Maybe there are a few left over there. Price is well, what they go for now. Russian Mosin Nagant M44 7.62x54R Carbine http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?groupid=336&name=Russian+Mosin+Nagant+M44+7.62x54R+Carbine+Laminate
  20. The Finns took captured (and purchased) Russian receivers and bolts then built a whole new gun around those two parts. Different stock, sights and slightly modified magazine. My '42 VKT M39 has a Remington receiver.
  21. Watch the Food Network sometime. They are a delicacy of some kind. Or something far more entertaining.
  22. Well, whatever it is keep and season some of the wood in case it's good for BBQ'ing.
  23. I bet he still talks funny.
