  1. It is French .30 Carbine ammo made in 1962. Possibly corrosive (btw, the US NEVER made corrosive .30 carb ammo). Probably has some collector value as is.
  2. Let's see...he also smokes in the basement or on the balcony of, craps in, has sex with his wife and most assuredly farts in the White House. Are there any other uncouth things to complain about?
  3. True dat.
  4. Some things never change with Florida...16 penalties for 151 yards. Great coaching. Now WHY IN THE HELL TENNESSEE couldn't do anything with that gift I don't know.
  5. Maybe I'm dense but that is the worse presentation of stats I've ever seen.
  6. Not that I care but is the stock low in general or just around weekends? They do Knoxville shows (which are constant) so I assume maybe they're sometimes packing up for others as well.
  7. How appropriate that I'm going shooting tomorrow. I thought it was just to go have some fun, now I see it will be a celebration of freedom....or what's left of it.
  8. Just clean appropriately after use. No problem. If you are looking at the brass-cased Yugo surplus it's great ammo.
  9. Just go buy another gun tomorrow to "test the sytem".
  10. Bugging out refers to getting away from population centers in a time of crisis, at least as far as I'm concerned. Camping is having fun. The only thing you can practice is loading everything up into your car, it's hard to simulate unmoving dead-lock on all roads out of town. If you want to "bug out" to ET then good luck. You'll never make it across the state in time and if you do will go through the 2nd most populated area of TN right into the 3rd. Now, for just plain camping there are so many state and national parks around here it will make your head spin.
  11. Thanks for the report. I've always fancied a Walther in .22 but they are few and far between and pricey when you do find one. The Bersas in any caliber usually get very favorable reviews.
  12. Savage Mark II bolt gun. There are several models but anything with a bull barrel provides tack-driving all day long.
  13. That's very powerful. Thanks for posting.
  14. What on Earth are you talking about?
  15. Live long and prosper.
  16. That's about the funniest SNL skit ever. Just watched the other day for no particular reason other than it popped into my head. Might need to go seek out this Ice Cream.
  17. Any store that sells handguns should be able to tell you. Coal Creek runs classes every week. On Target is good. Many people speak highly of the classes put on by Sgt. Mike Lett at the Sheriff's Dept. facilities.
  18. Truly saddened to hear this. RIP Mousegunner.
  19. Continued shooting/cleaning of the chamber will loosen up the bolt after time. A .45 caliber brush can be used to help clean the chamber. Nothing needs to be polished.
  20. +100 for the Nancy Pad. Looks good, feels good and extends the length of pull.
  21. I used to flash my lights but quit...not for any noble purpose...but for the simple fact it probably doesn't do any good anymore. Mody people are too freakin' stoopid to even know what it means. Same thing goes for people driving with no headlights. They haven't a clue.

That gun looks pretty uptown to me.
  23. "Enemy" is an excellent movie. I must shoot my Mosin this weekend.
