  1. I like going to any place that sells guns just to hear the ridiculous BS from both sides of the counter. Haven't been disappointed yet.
  2. You are eating the shells too, right robtattoo? That's where all the flavor is.
  3. Do you mean something like this.... Cabela's: Cabela's Black-Powder Double-Barrel Shotgun - 12 Gauge
  4. I am NOT OK with spending one more penny out of my pocket then I already am. Taxpayers contributing more so those that don't is pretty much base cause of the situation we are in now. Washington needs to fix this now and without spending one more cent....and without coming to us that actually work hard, play by the rules and WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A FUTURE.
  5. Sounds like you have a great day in store!
  6. Yes they are.
  7. I fully understand the intent of the sign but am merely commenting on the poorly worded notice. Are open carriers welcome?
  8. Don't shoot it with smokeless powder loads as it has damascus barrels. The 31st edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values (2010, for what it's worth) ranges from $3,750 for 100% condition to $725 for 10%. Take it from there.
  9. I imagine the mag works as designed. Load the first round, then when loading the second make sure to push its rim against the round already loaded, not letting it overlap. Very common problem with Mosins.
  10. His 9% sales tax would result in us Tennesseans, who already pay the 2nd highest sales tax in the county, having that rate doubled. Think 18+% everytime you spend a dollar.
  11. You know Ruger is making 25 rounders now for the 10/22. Came out several months ago and they work flawlessly. http://www.ruger.com/micros/BX-25/index.html?r=y

    The latest 3

Those Rock Islands are excellent pistols. Don't listen to what the pretty finish crowd says. Not familiar with the .22, how is it?
  13. That don't make no sense. I'll not even start in on the concealed part.
  14. That dovetail scope mount is sheer genius. Of course it kinda makes iron sights not an option if you wanted to easily switch at the range. But it beats the only other thing I've seen which is a big clamp-on deal....http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/ruger-mk-i-ii-no-drill-scope-mount.aspx?a=862813...but I have concerns it might scratch the gun up.
  15. How can a "guest" even browse the classifieds. You must be logged in to do so.
  16. Nickel plated.
  17. But I bet you got all sweaty if it was your first time.
  18. They are all toys IHMO but some might actually help deliver a bullet. I choose lower left.
  19. I think you've been duped.
  20. Antique is actually defined as 1898 or earlier...regular ATF purchasing rules do not apply. C&R status is automatic for anything over 50 years old. If you find a Mosin with an 1898 receiver then nothing more is required then handing over the cash and taking home the rife. Otherwise all Mosins are C&R eligible. If you have the license then you should be able to save $10, based on the seller's mood.
  21. Aim had a small batch several month ago. You must have dig up an old page...it happens. Either way make sure it's not a Super model. Those are 9mm Largo (9x23mm).

    Finally got a CZ

CZ's are indeed excellent pistols and will out shoot a Glock any day of the week. Congrats on a great purchase.
  23. Now that punk is gone I might start watching again.
  24. If you can't find anything a little dab of flourescent paint on the front sight might help.
  25. Nope, they're just gonna microstamp everything and put in expiring primers.
