  1. Well Albanian I believe is also brass but it is all berdan primed. Yes, I guess you can attempt to reload it but why? The cost, time and effort just isn't worth it.
  2. All surplus x54r is berdan primed, corrosive and in steel cases, except Yugoslavian which is brass but is also corrosive berdan. Not worth the trouble or effort to even attempt reloading. If you really want to reload new boxer primed brass cases are available.
  3. You can Google "chinese ammo" as well to find it all over.
  4. This is all over the interwebz. Other than the WWB from WalMart where does one find Chinese ammo, especially .44 Mag?
  5. That most likely, if you can pull it off, will result in a messed up thumb commonly known and M1 or Garand Thumb. It is very easy to "lock" open the bolt on the follower if you don't pull it back far enough.
  6. That is a mighy fine lookin' pistol gun! Those wood grips are well worth the extra cost.
  7. I really like the traditional wood double-diamond grips. I put these on my SA 1911 and they are beautiful....Grips 1918 WWI-Style 1911 Government Commander Checkered Walnut
  8. I have always wanted one of those. Let us hear a report when you get it. CZ's are great pistols.
  9. This is an explanation I can wrap my head around.
  10. On a more abstract level the innocent suffer every day due to the actions of the guilty. Every single one of us who have never committed a crime pay the price for those that do. Higher prices to offset losses due to theft, ridiculous and insane laws governing the puchase of cold medicine (an apparently batteries in Kentucky), increased governmental costs and eventual tax increases to enact reactive laws based on the doings of a few, the insane costs of prosecuting and eventually freeing obviously guilty people, etc., etc. No of us are "free" because of the guilty.
  11. If find this interesting... That might put a damper on some people's shenanigans. What about Cohen's amendment regarding those under 21? Rep. Steve Cohen amendment would allow states to keep young people from carrying concealed weapons » The Commercial Appeal
  12. Let me google that for you
  13. Thinking about doing the same and stashing it in one of my mystery cans. You know, the unmarked ammo cans with random, obscure and seldom used bewletts that get stashed under a bed or buried in a closet somewhere. I can rediscover it in a few years, say "cool" and admire it.
  14. Did you try Numrich... Numrich Gun Parts Corp. - The World's Largest Supplier of Firearms Parts and Accessories If they have the part, here's a little secret....call them like you want to order a part, you will get an automated message telling you to hang up and order off the internet, but they'll give you a code to use for free shipping when checking out.
  15. You know that's why I'm asking.
  16. Does anyone have any experience with Aguila 55gr .223 FMJ? All thoughts and opinions are welcome...related to this particular ammo;)
  17. The new Academy has CCI Green Tag.
  18. Winchester Dates of Manufacture
  19. It is BLUE you freak. Didn't leave my key though. As Mr. Observation points out here, I never would have gotten home, so I guess you're halfway smart. Left around 1:15.
  20. Pistol ammo is whatever the seller determines it is when you are trying to buy it.
  21. RIA's are excellent pistols. Many people dismiss them as cheap or junk because of the low price. That price is the only thing cheap about them.
  22. Let's just throw out the entire old-ass constitution altogether. It doesn't fit today's ignorant, iPod lifestyle anyway.

    Ruger 10/22

That barrrel band does doodly-squat. I don't even know why it's there but it is handy when trying to attach a sling. The single action screw just forward of the magazine holds the thing together.
