  1. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/buyer-seller-feedback/64455-wizard640-incomplete.html It was more than just one failed transaction spoolie. Rather than continuing a campaign publicly supporting a banned member I recommend you take it up with management privately.
  2. Truer words were never spoken. As far as the militia goes...you WILL give your food to them to be either a member or protected by them. After that the caloric intake will be proportial to one's status in the pecking order.
  3. Looks original to me. A Colt letter will get you nothing but specs, a date shipped and delivered to "the US govenment" based on the samples I've seen.
  4. Mosins do not have consecutive serial numbers as we understand them. In the case of WWII manufactured stuff they used the two letter prefix in conjuction with up to 4 digits to denote year and month. AFAIK it is impossible to decipher the exact born on date based on the system, but there was an order to it.
  5. So it's a 91/30? Are there two letters prefixing the serial number?
  6. I beginning to think Ruger 1911's are a myth. Have only seen them in pictures. Never seen one at a gun show and at any dealer around here it's "we had one the other day".
  7. How did that turn out? Here's an idea: Personal responsibility for one's own actions.
  8. Staying logged on to any website is really not a good idea.

    Finally got a CZ

Bless the internet. Those kits are not cheap. Cz 75 Kadet Adapter 22 Long Rifle Conversion Kit 01610#
  11. Let the apocalypse begin!
  12. Have seen a couple of episodes but not the entire series. Very good stuff.
  13. So what happens when the GAO concludes, as they most likely will, that there is no way for state and local agencies to verify the validity of out-of-state permits? Is there presently some national system to do this?
  14. That rant is classic! Gonna have to go back and read it piece by piece so the hilarity and seriousness of it sinks in.
  15. No kidding. Everyone knows it's WallyWorld.
  16. When exactly did Colt make 1911's or any other gun in the Phillippines?
  17. There was a recall issued for No dash and -1 686's, along with others in the same family, due to cylinder binding issues under heavy loads. A gun sent back and repaired under the recall has an M stamped next to the model number. Not a deal killer and not an issue they all had based on what I've heard. You can google 686 recall for more info.
  18. I like Rock Island's becuse they say "Pahrump" on the dust cover.
  19. Who is the importer and where did they put the defacement marks?
  20. When savvy buyers started realizing there is no need to pay twice as much for the same thing.
  21. Well Albanian I believe is also brass but it is all berdan primed. Yes, I guess you can attempt to reload it but why? The cost, time and effort just isn't worth it.
  22. All surplus x54r is berdan primed, corrosive and in steel cases, except Yugoslavian which is brass but is also corrosive berdan. Not worth the trouble or effort to even attempt reloading. If you really want to reload new boxer primed brass cases are available.
  23. You can Google "chinese ammo" as well to find it all over.
  24. This is all over the interwebz. Other than the WWB from WalMart where does one find Chinese ammo, especially .44 Mag?
  25. That most likely, if you can pull it off, will result in a messed up thumb commonly known and M1 or Garand Thumb. It is very easy to "lock" open the bolt on the follower if you don't pull it back far enough.
