  1. I just saw one flying over West Knoxville. Anyone else see that or have any idea which one it is?
  2. Congratulations to you both.
  3. I'm not going to Syria but would definitely be up for something soon.
  4. Well, you could fill it in with crayon. If an engraver screws up your property what happens? I assume you get free work done and ****ty product, or is it just "sorry, there are no guarantees"?
  5. And his "pricing" was based on a one day only deal that may or may not have been the same type of ammo. Like others have said...handle such matters with PM's.
  6. The front sight can be adjusted for windage. With hammer and punch beat the thing over to wherever the bullet is going without the bayonet attached. I just shoot with the bayonet on. It's much easier.
  7. Being a cry-baby is bad enough. Being cry-baby that is ignorant of which he speaks is even worse.
  8. They used scopes and the front sight can be adjusted to compensate for not having the bayonet attached.
  9. Kevin Rudd is my new hero.
  10. Exactly.
  11. The Hi-Point 380 is absurd.
  12. I would vote for the Ruger if they actually existed.
  13. Marabunta
  14. Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it...or however the saying goes. Very few people in this county, especially those in power, have any clue. The direction this country is going is nothing new. As a matter of fact there really is nothing new human society can do. It's all been done before. History proves this.
  15. At TWRA ranges you follow whatever rules are posted. Same with other public and privately operated ranges. On private land do whatever makes you happy just make sure there is an adequate backstop behind whatever you're shooting and don't shoot in the direction of any houses.
  16. The LCP (Little Cool Pistol) is a great gun.
  17. For what it's worth it is illegal in Tennessee.
  18. Nice! I'm pretty sure that gun has my grubby paw prints all over it from the show.
  19. The vast, overwhelming majority of people are not prepared for any type of disaster. The guvment just needs to plan on that and quit butting into people's personal affairs. I find all this very curious after the recent announcement of Homeland Security/TSA checkpoints on TN highways.....
  20. If you can't afford something today then save up for it. $500 will buy most people more gun than they will ever need and it should not take long to save that amount. Finance houses and new cars...nothing else.

    Maybe Brangelina is a believer.
  22. Dear Editor— I am 8 years old. Some of my little friends say there is no Santa Claus. Papa says, “If you see it in The Sun, it’s so.” Please tell me the truth, is there a Santa Claus? Virginia O’Hanlon Virginia, your little friends are wrong. They have been affected by the skepticism of a skeptical age. They do not believe except they see. They think that nothing can be which is not comprehensible by their little minds. All minds, Virginia, whether they be men’s or children’s, are little. In this great universe of ours, man is a mere insect, an ant, in his intellect as compared with the boundless world about him, as measured by the intelligence capable of grasping the whole of truth and knowledge. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus. He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Santa Claus! It would be as dreary as if there were no Virginias. There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which childhood fills the world would be extinguished. Not believe in Santa Claus! You might as well not believe in fairies. You might get your papa to hire men to watch in all the chimneys on Christmas eve to catch Santa Claus, but even if you did not see Santa Claus coming down, what would that prove? Nobody sees Santa Claus, but that is no sign that there is no Santa Claus. The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but that’s no proof that they are not there. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world. You tear apart the baby’s rattle and see what makes the noise inside, but there is a veil covering the unseen world which not the strongest man, nor even the united strength of all the strongest men that ever lived could tear apart. Only faith, poetry, love, romance, can push aside that curtain and view and picture the supernal beauty and glory beyond. Is it all real? Ah, Virginia, in all this world there is nothing else real and abiding. No Santa Claus! Thank God! he lives and lives forever. A thousand years from now, Virginia, nay 10 times 10,000 years from now, he will continue to make glad the heart of childhood.
  23. If this is the best the Republican party can put up then Obama will win in 2012. I'm to the point of accepting bets on it.

This is what needs a movie!
  25. i was surprised to see KPD there as well. OhShoot talked to the RK guy for a while and apparently there where many, many complaints from people about the rent-a-cops. I guess everyone got tired of the ammo thieving.
