Failed who? He did what he was supposed to do which was certifying the election, not challenging it.

I have one of those in the garage. I talk to my wife through it when she comes out there trying to see what I’m up to.

That wouldn’t be constitutional. -
Practicing for The Nutcracker maybe.

With two R’s for and five D’s against. What happens in the Senate will be interesting to say the least. BTW, did anyone seriously think we would not get to this point again? Remember the ‘90’s? -
Trouble with a Smith & Wesson Model 28.

I’m too in awe of the size of that front bag to consider how you’re going to ride around with all that stuff piled up in the back.

He’s good. I saw him live and in person a couple of weeks ago.

At least she knows what she is…well, gender/pronoun wise.

How does something like that come up in conversation?

Same here. Those old swing sets were stupid tall with seats like two feet off the ground. Could really catch some air when you got going and jumped out.

All we needed was a little mercurochrome and a bandaid to get back into action…if even that.

Some would say use your horses.

It’s some kind of fabric. Maybe something to keep a sweaty cheek in place.

How come y’all didn’t tell me about this?

Is Breitbart still a thing? I cured myself of that rubbish years ago.

But if you put a windmill in the backyard and solar panels all over your roof then you can charge it up for “free”.

What is old is new again…and killing it. RIP Dusty.

A lot of opposition is emotional but much of it does have some basis in reality, depending on the source. EV’s have definitely come a long way in a very short time but are constantly evolving. We have seen the same with computers, communications, phones, etc. over the past 20-30 years if not longer but everyone knows those are disposable and relatively inexpensive in the grand scheme of things depending on need. While combustion engine vehicles are pretty much disposable, they can still be made to run for decades, as long as they don’t have a bunch of complicated electronics, or at least replacement part cannot be found for. EV’s are expensive. Regular vehicles are expensive. Not everyone can just run out and buy a rolling iPhone and expect to keep it forever. That battery is going to go bad at some point… and it’s going to be expensive to replace. Many older people who are retired or are soon to be there simply cannot afford to go out and buy a fancy new EV, much less have to repair it a few years down the road. I’d say many of them are set with the vehicle they’d got and may have planned it that way. There are tremendous amounts of people these days that can barely afford rent. No way they are going to find cheap transportation in an EV world. And all those people that live out in the boonies with no charging solutions are going to be screwed until they buy their own and pay the electric bill…or hope the local government and some business puts in charging stations for them. I see a lot of backwoods communities resisting that with a passion…because emotions.

Regardless of the brand or variation, real or imitation, it’s all nasty.

Preliminary report of the Texas House investigative committee released today. There’s a lot to process but one thing for sure is that kid was poster child for issues. https://www.cnn.com/interactive/2022/07/us/uvalde-report-full-document/

I seen them at the store.
