Speedmasters are extremely accurate and downright fun rifles.

I did see some familiar gun show faces in the crowd from the picture posted on the News-Sentinal's website today.

It is a .38 Military & Police, Model of 1905, 1st or 2nd change with what appears to be a 6.5" barrel. Manufactured around 1908. That is my estimation, the serial number range from 1906-1909 was 73251-146899.

The fallout is really moot at this point. The damage is done, the media has nothing to worry about and the ignorant are up in arms with no evidence. I wonder after all this time if anyone remembers what originally happened.

They only downside I've found is that I can only use Blazer bulk ammo with it. Not a problem because that is very good ammo. Any other bulk ammo has problems extracting. Wolf (or SK) match also does well as it has the same type of waxy, greasy coating as the Blazer.

I don't much care for Romney and also have no desire whatsoever to vote for any politician from the Northeast but there really is no other option. I have long despised the Republican party and this year has furthered by belief that they have absolutely no clue as to what they are doing. The crop of candidates they have put up this year is proof to me of that. I look at it this way, if you don't vote for Romney then you are voting for Obama. Even if an independent runs, who will have no chance at all of winning, and you vote for them, it's a vote for Obama. I refuse to not vote, so I will go to the polls, hold my nose and push the button.

I don't think it can be done resonably without great expense and headache. The Mosin is designed for a single-stack mag. The whole thing is build around feeding from that. PSL mags are double-stack.
