  1. I believe it might actually be an M1890. Check this....http://www.hungariae.com/Mann90.htm and the second & fourth rifles here....http://www.collectib...Mannlicher.html
  2. Here is a great deal in the Memphis area on a Mark III. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/classifieds/item/270-ruger-mark-iii-22lr-55-blued-bull-barrel/#features
  3. That is brilliant Caster and yes, you are way overthinking it. Even in a "sealed" US ammo can, which I know for a fact will keep ammo, in their original boxes for at least 50 years, cardboard and paper is what will soak up any moisture that might get in. Open those cans up every few years, just to let the funk out and admire the stash.
  4. I have always wanted one of these and that looks very nice. Great condition, I mean really, really excellent condition! If you want to shoot it, use only black powder loads then clean appropriately. It looks sound, there's no reason you shouldn't at least a few times.
  5. The shortage just started. Ruger has never been able to keep up with demand for this one, they keep introducing new models of other things, have suspended all new orders.....and it's an election year.
  6. ^ brilliant.
  7. Nice. Did you find this in the Knox-vegas area? Once have I seen one, at a store 400 miles away and it was only a teaser model.
  8. Only if you've got the mojo.
  9. There are no traditional carbide dies (sizing) that I know of for bottle-neck cartridges. There apparently are carbide expanding dies however as I just learned from the interwebz.
  10. There are several ranges in the Cherokee. http://www.fs.usda.gov/activity/cherokee/recreation/otheractivities/?recid=34864&actid=106
  11. They must be melting everything down to begin production of that new Tapco abortion, the AK-12.
  12. Did any of y'all actually expect those Republicans to do what they said they would or maybe keep their word that was never really given to begin with? Welcome to the cynics club.
  13. I tend to agree with this.
  14. Say, what brand of muzzle device is that anyway?
  15. Sounds like the beginning of a jobs program for illegals. Ban Americans from doing the work, then farmers will be forced to find cheap labor.
  16. Doesn't look half as bad as some of the things people stick on the end of an AR. I like it. Other than making even more noise than usual does it have any other benefits?
  17. This is the real stuff.... http://www.sgammo.com/product/surplus/1080-round-can-545x39-fmj-russian-suplus-7n6-ammo It's corrosive so you will need to clean accordingly, that includes the gas tube.
  18. Congrats! Glad you finally scratched that itch. Does your Pole liked being called Sasha?

    Amazon.com

Amazon moved into Tennessee on the provision that they would not be required to collect sales tax on purchases made inside the state. Bredesen agreed to the deal and Amazon moved in. The current governor rescinded that agreement after assuming office and Amazon will begin charging sales tax in 2014. I'll leave the political commentary out of it.
  20. What a load of crap. If that bill infringes on anyone's 2nd amendment rights well then I guess Romney really will repeal Obabacare.
  21. Seems the maker of Saigas is having a little trouble. http://www.guns.com/...rupcy-7252.html
  22. It's hard to tell from the pics but I'm pretty sure that is a replacement stock. Other than that it looks like a fine example of a WWII rebuild of a 1920 Mark I. Barrel is original.
