  1. Pretty much since the show started.
  2. I'm sure you'll get a resonse or two.
  3. Uh, I knew that.
  4. All I know about them is I really would like a nice US specimen and there's no way it says 1869 on it.
  5. I remember hearing it the first time I came to East TN. I still prefer y'all. If they say it up in PA as well it's definitely an Appalachian thing. Wonder if it goes all the way up to Maine? It certainly does not go to West TN.
  6. Why not just load standard 110 gr. FMJ loads?
  7. 50 years ago people thought the same thing about Mausers, Enfields, Springfields, Krags, etc......
  8. It all depends. I grew up thinking Ralph "Papa" Thorson was the sh**. Of course that was before every retard had a TV show...with people watching.
  9. Never been in such a situation but it just goes to show...high tech's got nothing on tried and true. Oh, and all those fancy lights and lasers you speak of....nothing but crutches. I will admit to having a light bolted onto my nighstand gun but that's about it.
  10. Define please. What do these acronyms stand for?
  11. Never a dull moment in East Tennessee.
  12. My Phillipino Rock Island Compact has not failed once after close to 600 rounds.
  13. Made in China is what it says.
  14. Come to West Knoxville. We aren't allowed to see dirty, nasty guns at Wal-Mart.
  15. The general word is not to use lead bewlitts in a Glock barrel due to the polygonal rifling and potential for dangerous, barrrel-splitting, gun-exploding lead fouling. Many will debate it or just buy a replacement barrel with traditional grooves.
  16. Yep. Is that a suspension without pay? In school I would have gotten an F, suspended, possibly paddled and held back for a year. Don't you just love seeing cheaters get a slap on the wrist?
  17. Caster, do you run a gun store?
  18. Flagrant plagiarism. Further proof Fareed is a tool. On the subject of that worthless rag Time magazine, did anyone see the last issue that came out right after the Aurora shootings? I thumbed through it briefly at an airport a couple of weeks ago and probably disturbed some random people near me when I expressed disgust at the picture I saw. There was a center-spread picture of a 100 round AR mag with a caption that said something like "here is the weapon shown fill size".
  19. I think the story is just that, a story. I'm calling BS.
  20. I found this amusing....http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/51169-romneys-2nd-amendment-history/
  21. You can't tell DaddyO anything.

    Inland M1 carbine

It's an Inland M1 Carbine with a walnut M2 stock. Nothing all that unique about it. It's been through arsenal overhall at least once. Are you looking to sell or just information?
