Cool that they have their own headstamp.

You might want to stop equivocating people with animals and go back and watch the video…several times. At what point did he even have a chance to comply like a trained dog?

The shotgun on the right does not have a forearm.

Curious. It’s made by Alpine Fiberglass Products there in Mt. Juliet. https://opengovus.com/firearms-license/1-62-189-06-3J-07875 Are the cases fiberglass?

I’ve only seen the past 20 minutes or so of the video and coverage and it’s a lot to take in. I do know one thing, I’m done with Fox News. TC and his Antifa BS is a bit much.

Is that a nickel finish? That will seriously complicate a restoration. I’m of the leave it be mentality. What you have now is the pistol’s history. A very costly and likely disappointing refinish might spoil that regardless of intent, but you’ll never really know until it’s done. BTW, according to Colt it was made in 1920.

You will absolutely have an entire nation of agitators swarming in to raise hell of some kind. Sharpton, Crump, main stream media, and social media will help guarantee that. I pray that I’m wrong as well.

I think saying all eyes are on Memphis right now is an understatement. Just heard about it on one of those radio news snippets they have between programming. I really hope this horrible situation doesn’t explode into something more damaging to our society that is already literally hanging on a fringe.

I can’t comment on that particular model but .32 ACP is generally a very pleasant and accurate cartridge. You may not need to hunt too far for ammo. I have a supply that I’ve been thinking of moving on as I no longer have a .32.

If TN ever sees the light I’m gonna see about a Krystal franchise next to one.

Passing the plate I’m sure.

A far more reputable news source also carried the assault pistol quote but did add that the weapon may have been a Cobray M11.

Skin color has a lot to do with it these days. Many blacks are in fact treated worse by black cops. I grew up watching it… in Memphis.

It’s a good thing these five were fired before the video comes out. Releasing the identities of the officers involved hopefully will reduce the extent of what could, and may very still will be, a powder keg. Nationally, we don’t need any more of this #### and Memphis sure as hell doesn’t need it. I’m afraid the late ‘60’s turmoil with strikes and MLK followed by the fire and police strikes there in the late ‘70’s will be nothing compared to what could happen after this.

Now that the official new regulatory law is days away defining what makes a “pistol” a short-barreled rifle, what will the new definition of a pistol be? And when will that be changed if it’s not being changed already as part of this? The AR and AK platforms were never designed as pistols.

You’ve never seen it?! Have you seen El Dorado? Nearly the same plot.

It’s not good at all from what I can see.

It’s been done in the past in every way possible. All kinds of .45 derivatives have been come up with over the years. None caught on in a semi-auto if that’s what you’re looking for.

That was what, 10 years or 15 years ago?

I think political prognostication and discussion is not going to go too far around here.

Nashville Armory has new policy of collecting customer ID Info
Garufa replied to Bayo's topic in General Chat
Whenever I am asked for such information when paying cash the answer is a simple and authoritative NO or “you don’t need that”. It’s that simple. -
Basically, yes. The statutory laws in place enable regulatory agencies to define rules and regulations which are essentially the law.

Go ahead and say it.
