  1.   This is nothing more than a government shakedown.  It is the only way to explain the abusdity of this case.
  2. An excellent point peejman.  As a gallon of water weighs about 8.34 lbs it's good to take that into consideration.
  3. "The results from a poll we brought you earlier this week show an overwhelming majority of Americans think that Panera did not go far enough in ensuring the safety of their customers by completely banning firearms from their locations"
  4. All Tokarevs imported into this country have a safety installed.  It's a requirement that is sometimes installed by hacks, sometimes by the original factory (think Yugo Zastava)  Tok's never had one to begin with.
  5.   You're catching on.
  6.   What elected officials are held accountable and who holds them?  Voters?
  7. OP, clear you head.
  8. I renewed my registration a couple of weeks ago (in Knox County) and there is no place to sign it.  Been doing the same for 20 years now and never has a signature been required that I am a aware of.  Even if there was I would not, just like the back of credit and debit cards.   Update:  Looking at last year's registration there is a change of address area at the bottom of the document that has a signature box (at the lower right hand corner).  That obviously is for inking in a new address...and signing to it's veracity.  Why that is needed I have no idea but I keep things simple.  If I have a change of address I would get the registration updated...officially.
  9.   I guess the comedy is with the BS that is spewed from Walmart workers' mouths.
  10. For what it's worth, last weekend I went out with several varieties of ammo just to test grouping. Rifle has 16" PSA upper with FN chrome-lined 1/7 twist barrel. Shooting from a bag with an Eotech 512 sight at 50 yards. Did not spend too much time letting the rifle cool down or getting all serious about holding the dot steady, breathing, etc. Each target is 10 rounds and shot in the order listed. The target dot is 1". 1. Federal XM193 5.56mm 55gr. 2. Wolf Gold .223 55gr. 3. ZQ1 (MKE) from WalMart 5.56mm 62gr. Yes, this ammo is essentially m855, even attracts a magnet. 4. Federal XM855 5.56mm 62gr. 5. PMC X-Tac 5.56mm 62gr 6. ZQ1 (MKE) 5.56mm 62gr after adjusting sight.
  11. Plenty of .32 ammo available out there but I would recommend finding a brand made in Europe as they generally load that round a little hotter and is considered more reliable in European made guns.   Look for Fiocchi, Prvi, Sellier & Bellot, Geco, etc.
  12. When I kept a tank it was South American Cichlids for me.  Goldfish is what I fed them.   Problem is you can't have too many on one tank, depending on the species, as they tend to get very territorial.   Pretty sure you'll need a heater of for any type of fish in a tank that size.
  13. I had a Romanian at one time that was a piece of junk.  It was completely unreliable and I believe part of the problem was the safety that was installed as an import requirement was interfering with the works.  That and the fact is was just junk.   That's my experience with the one Romanian specimen I've ever owned.   My choice is the Yugo M57.  Very well built and the safety installed is more of a 1911 style than what is put on the Poles and Romanians.
  14.   Arrogance.  Plain and simple.  Hell, let's just bring them all over since doctors have it all figured out now.
  15. Shouldn't they be busy raising their kids or something?
  16. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/09/04/rumor-check-those-fake-cellphone-towers-youre-hearing-about-arent-necessarily-towers-at-all/
  17.   How European of you.
  18. Talking about it will jinx it.   Go Vols!
  19. I have to agree that the 92 has a massive grip that I don't like but I can shoot them very well.   When they start having TN stamped on the side I might just break down and get one.
  20. I've seen the Fed. Champ. Aluminum at a couple of WM's.  $9.97 for 9mm, $14.97 for .45.  Picked up a couple of boxes of the 9mm just to take to the range when I don't feel like chasing brass.   One could probably say it is nothing but Blazer and be correct.
  21.   I don't and agree an actor's opinion is worth nothing.  Unfortunately, people in this society believe that actors (and sports people) are some kind of gods.
  22. If the guy was looking for a payday he'd have a bucket, guitar or rifle case laying on the sidewalk in front of him while he proselytizes for people to throw change into.
  23. From one year ago....https://www.smith-wesson.com/wcsstore/SmWesson2/upload/other/LA_SDPR_LA%20Approved.pdf   I guess the LASD and S&W made up.   BTW, it took about 3 seconds of Googling to find that.
