  1.   Not on the internet.
  2.   What a fine example of the twisted mess these politicians have made of carrying a handgun.
  3.    G. gets it.  There nothing at all wrong with a proper battle axe mounted to your weapon system(s).
  4. Y'all are like a bunch of ladies at the beauty parlor talking about As the World Turns.
  5. I hope they got enough stuff to put supports on the inside of the walls.
  6. Cast bullets are usually .001" greater in diameter than jacketed.  Creates a better seal in the barrel and help reduce lead fouling.
  7.   Gotcha.  The internet is local to me.  I don't fool with LGS' (or those with pick up times) when it comes to ammo, especially something like .303 because Knoxville just sucks when it comes to stuff like that.   You can get a case of it for $385 delivered from sgammo.
  8.   That's pretty high for Prvi.
  9. "I'm writing that down".     < that's what I would have done right in his face.
  10. Why don't you people buy ammo for calibers that you do need and leave the rest?  That would go a long way towards stabilizing things.
  11. Sad thing is the wood is probably coming from the US.
  12. That's basically brining.
  13. How do you measure the headstamp thickness?
  14.   Of course it's not going to end.  Once the government gets a notion to do something it will be done.
  15. Suddenly, I feel the need for some gun screws.
  16. There's no shame in installing a nancy-pad:  http://www.amazon.com/Mosin-Nagant-Rubber-Recoil-Butt/dp/B001HIT1UO   You can turn a 40 round range fest into a 60-70 round blast before permanent bruising sets in.
  17.   Based on that article it means there will never be another comment period for anything the ATF plans on doing.  That M855 ban....expect it on a Friday afternoon in the next few weeks.
  18.   How do you know it was made in '46?  I didn't see one pic of the barrel shank which is the only place a date is stamped.
  19. Haslam can and will do whatever he wants.   1)  He's on his second term. 2)  He really doesn't have to answer to the voters, just like the rest of them.  Even those up for reelection know there's slim chance the average voter will remember or even care about what happen a month, year or several years before the next election.
  20.   You are correct.  I believe locals can be recalled but not state officials....as far as TN state code goes.
  21.   I wonder how many of those people actually have the capability.
  22.   Very true but Haslam was already beyond rich before holding office.  He also takes no salary as Governor.  Pretty sure he did the same when Mayor of Knoxville.  One of the few ultra wealthy that does that.
  23.   A couple of months ago CTD (yes, those asses) had a supply of surplus Greek HXP at a decent price.  I thought that stuff was all gone but somehow they found some.  I scored a case.  Should last me the rest of forever as much as I shoot mine and will still have a stash of excellent brass if the notion to reload ever strikes.
  24. Obama's gonna ban brass.
  25. I believe the primer pockets can be loose.  Not always but sometimes.  I blew a couple of primers on some I reloaded, but it was a fairly hot load.
