Being that CZ's are made in Europe I imagine they are sighted in for 124 gr. rounds...I don't know where these 115 grainers came from, most likely chiseling US accountants.

  I've been using that stuff and is does have a weird smell.  Usually, I just run a wet patch through the bore before storing and I think it really does help reduce fouling the next time out.    It does have an unfortunate appearance though. 

  Cooking oil does loose some viscosity as the temps drop.

  They do have a killer price on Blazer Brass in the MIGHTY .40 today.  ;)   Thing is their shipping prices sometimes take the joy out of ordering from them.

If it slides grease it, if it rotates oil is the old saying.   If don't mess with grease on an AR much because they get filthy and the grease just makes it messier.  Rifles like M1 Garands, Carbines and M1A's pretty much need grease.  On 1911's and other semi-auto pistols I like to grease the rails where the slide rests.  It's amazing the malfunctions this will prevent.   I bought a tube of this http://www.midwayusa.com/product/133862/tetra-gun-grease-1-oz-tube about six years ago.  It's now about empty but the point is a little goes a long way.

As a taxpayer I say the G19 is more than adequate for our forces.
