  1. Their "premium" line or whatever they call it now has FN made barrels.
  2. PSA does not "manufacture" anything in the raw material to finished product/component way of thinking. They build AR's with parts sourced from other manufacturers.
  3. Now how in the hell does a slide fall off while dry firing? None of the Internet metallurgists and gunsmiths said anything about a gun just coming apart if there's not a snap cap in the chamber.
  4. Is it time to start stocking up on little discs for ammo?
  5. I kinda wish all used cop cars went directly to the scrap yard. I can usually spot them from a mile away and seeing the old heaps interferes with my driving pleasure.
  6. I don't know but they sure have ended many desperate situations in the movies. What kind of oomph does flare have?
  7. Pet some lotion in the basket next time you go to the store.
  8. Does Fostech have that letter posted on their website? Doesn't matter really, a new letter could come at any time essentially outlawing the things...just like shouldering "the brace".
  9. Pretty sure it's also required in TN to buy the most expensive you ever will...and to never get the chance to use it more than once.
  10. One would expect to find some tools at Tractor Supply.
  11. I'll bet you a .22 shell that letters have already been sent for clarification and that the ATF will come down on these like a ton of bricks by the end of the year.
  12. They should model it after their own Gen 2....Perfection.
  13. This it what you call wisdom.
  14. AIM Surplus, Classic Arms and J&G Sales are three of the "mainstream" dealers that usually have something or regularly get something in. There are other dealers if you want to get more focused on looking for something in particular and don't mind paying the price.
  15. All kinds of C&R stuff out there but the cost of milsurps from dealers has skyrocketed. But it there is this to consider....anything 50 years old or older is automatically C&R. That's 1966. There are some interesting times ahead, assuming sellers play by the rules and do the right thing.
  16. When Gaston shoves off there's no telling what they'll start putting out.
  17. Impulse buying in the AR world can also separate you from a whole lot of money.
  18. Might want to call around to some of the local funeral parlors and inquire what "pre-need" arrangements they offer.
  19. I think AR's look silly without them.
  20. The standard handguard can also be replaced with a Magpul MOE. No tools are required for installation. They even make little rail sections that attach to it for mounting stuff. Handguard is about $30. Don't know about the rail sections.
  21. Don't recall ever coming across her work but sometimes musicians just do what they do. They don't need to put on a show. Plus, I really dig classical music rocked-out.
  22. 17 years old...
  23. I could lose myself in this pigsty of a garage of mine.
  24. BTW, some excellent foreign brands like Wolf Gold made in Tawain are in fact loaded to NATO 5.56 specs.
  25. Way long story short: - 5.56 ammo will perform marginally better in a 5.56 chamber. - Don't use 5.56 in a .223 chamber. That's really all there is to go on without writing a novel as there are so many variables...like ".223" ammo loaded to 5.56 specs.
