  1. I do like the low bore axis and am intrigued by the take-down mechanism. Theoretically it does look like a sweet shooter with the potential for great accuracy and quick follow up shots with all that "chin". I don't see the rail on that gun being of any use at all. The only thing I put on a pistol rail is a light and I like the finger paddle where it is supposed to be...right in front of the trigger guard. If they shaved that thing off and contoured it better it would look a lot better.
  2. You ain't from around here, are ya? RC Cola and a Moonpie is traditional.
  3. Did ya pick up some RC Colas too? So you're buying Moopies by the box-full but can't handle Goo Goos?
  4. They don't have a plan. Otherwise, they'd be screaming it from every mountain top.
  5. Apparently, a company called Don's Johns is supplying the plastic ####houses for the Donald's inauguration festivities. They are covering up their name on the conveniences with tape cause it just doesn't look right. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/01/13/dons-what-portable-toilet-names-covered-for-inauguration.html
  6. It ain't no Moonpie but is still something that makes me proud to be a Tennessean.
  7. I think I like it.....but I just don't know.
  8. I think the point is PMAG's are now the standard issue mag for the USMC. Is that the case with other branches?
  9. Stiff new fines are now in place for illegally killing big game. This guy's greed is costing him nearly $10,000 for one deer. http://www.knoxnews.com/story/news/local/tennessee/2017/01/12/deer-costs-man-nearly-10000-under-new-tennessee-law/96480784/
  10. Already illegal. I imagine such laws as this are related to pollution control.
  11. Just buy a few boxes of new ammo then you'll have all the brass you need: http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=AP32SW98&name=Prvi+Partizan+PPU+.32+S%26W+Long+LRN+98grn+50rd+Box&groupid=92
  12. Neat. I can guarantee you there is no serial number on it, so there is no need to disassemble. Serial numbers were not required before 1968 and many, many old guns simply do not have them.
  13. If Colt actually is going to start producing DA revolvers again it's probably because they want to cash in based on the ridiculous prices their old snake guns now command. S&W has done the same with their "classic" line that I do not approve of. Regardless, Colt does not rev my engine. Never has. I am an Smith and Wesson man.
  14. Obama has not ordered all SSI recipients be deemed mental defectives. What is being done is the SSA will now begin reporting all recipients of disability and SSI payments who are deemed to has some mental disorder and whose payments are received by someone on their behalf to NICS per a law passed on 2007. The disorders are listed in section 12 of the SSA "listing of impairments".
  15. That is wise as they are very tasty. There are actually 4 or 5 different ones available with different stuff wrapped up.
  16. Actually, the bolt face is the same, it just has a different extractor. Regardless, this specimen is not 7.62.
  17. My Bersa Thunder 22 is the bee's knees. Runs flawlessly on Remington Golden Bullets.
  18. It was an Enfield of some type. Definitely need to see pics of the entire action and rifle.
  19. Sears has been bordering on bankruptcy and irrelevance for years. The Craftsman line of tools went to hell years ago. The last saving grace they have (or had?) is appliances. Most of mine are Kenmore and they are excellent. In the past, usually slightly better stuff from the same name brand manufacturers than what Lowe's & Home Depot sells. But in reality, all appliances are for #### these days. It is now your responsibility to rebuy everything every few years to keep the garbage manufactures in business.
  20. I've never been to Cabela's but probably would if it were closer over Bass Pro, just because I've been to BP several times and there's really not a lot there for a special trip. Something to ask yourself: does Cabela's have a beef jerky store next door?
  21. As much as PSA charges for shipping they could just eat it, let you have the tainted bewlitts, send you a new case, and not even fool with a claim.
  22. Good to hear they're going to make things right. Not only for the inconvenience and unacceptability of the whole situation, but those poly-coated cases rust with a quickness when exposed to moisture and there is no sealant on those particular rounds.
  23. There are 10 stations in Warsaw alone. This one is some kind of talk radio, I guess: http://radio.garden/live/warsaw/tok/
  24. I'm a big fan of listening to the radio and something exciting just started up that's blowing my mind. Listen to over 8,000 stations from all over the world right here: http://radio.garden/ Just zoom into the map on where you want to hear a broadcast from and it will start playing.
