They got caught because they are cowards and knew very well that a private citizen will drop them much faster than the law would.

I find it strange and confusing. How does it work?

I'm all into milsurp bolt actions. It was my dad's thing and he passed it on to me. Mosin's will put a hurt on you after a while but I have a theory based on thousands of rounds. First, when surplus ammo was cheap I would go pop off 60-80 rounds or however much I brought in one session to the point I was just pulling the trigger so I didn't have to take any ammo home. That's punishing in and of itself. Second, Mosin's have a shorter stock than normal rifles. I firmly believes that makes a difference. I broke down and put a nancy pad on my main Mosin and it definitely helped in increasing that length of pull and getting an extra 20-40 rounds out of a ammo burning session. Now, an 8mm in K98 configuration with proper 196 gr surplus ammo is absolutely brutal. The heavier the bullet the more it kicks...or beats you up. Romanian surplus 8mm carries 150 gr bullets and Is a joy to shoot compared to Turkish and Yugo. While the Turkish is the hottest of the bunch, it is not "machine gun ammo". I think it's just more suited to the longer barreled Mauser the Turks made. I know the Turk stuff I have performed noticebly different in my Yugo M48 (shot was high) than Yugo and Romanian stuff. My '43 nazi stamped Mauser Oberdorf K98 has not tasted corrosive ammo since WWII and never will.

Pretty good for being 9 feet away.

Strange things are afoot here.

I have no idea what's going on. Not two hours ago this story said the hero's name was being withheld due to death threats from white supremacists: http://www.knoxnews.com/story/news/crime/2017/06/16/tennessee-residents-were-ready-guns-when-georgia-fugitives-came-their-way/403691001/ Now he'e coming out with his family in tow saying the two scum just laid down. I have another question. What is the significance of the AR-7 tattoo above that one tard's eye?

I go to guns shows for guns and gun related stuff; however, if some tasty beef jerky is being offered I will sample and purchase.

So the answer is to have a cop on every corner and anywhere two or more people might meet. That just plays right into the hands of those who want such things.

You have no idea...nothing but enablers around here.

I'm afraid this may very well be a "watershed moment". Never have so many Congressmen all been simultaneously involved in a mass shooting. All who are of the party that is supposedly on the side of gun owners. As Rand Paul is quoted "we were like sitting ducks". And they were. I doubt they will be very willing to ever feel that again and may just start empathizing with those who have or might.

Where any lawnmowers running when it happened? Whatever it is it looks like it's been on the ground a while and maybe was kicked up by a mower.

Mobile safari. I was done with TapaTalk a long time ago.

You do get $8 of that back in the form of a voucher to help get your drink on and your snack on, but still. http://www.bealestreet.com/beale-street-bucks/

I was wondering if Greg's eyebrows have grown back.

Without a doubt but "gun" is real easy to put in the filter. In modern American spelling it's a four letter word.
-
Yep. I forget the exact wording (one sentence) but it was definitely blocked.

I agree to an extent but there's still that pesky property rights issue. As a semi-conservative state TN has gone to great lengths to preserve those rights as far as weapons are concerned.

So I just went over to pick up something to eat from Pizza Hut. Since my order was not ready in the indicated time I decided to use their wifi to check TGO for the 98th time today. I was denied. Apparently guns are bad and such types of sites are blocked. If the pizza is as good as it looks I will go back but for those who like to know these things about who they do business with well, there you have it.

Batman taking on the King! Something for the Memphis folks.

He had something to offer for every generation...and Family Guy is without a doubt the greatest animated TV show ever.

Are your 22/45's Mark IV's?

RIP Adam West. Thanks for putting some camp in my childhood before I even knew what campy meant.

Kinda semi-vintage but y'all know who this old-timer is, right?

If Europe relaxes gun restrictions, will it hurt gun prices?
Garufa replied to Ronald_55's topic in General Chat
The citizens will demand more government and restrictions. They simply do not know any other way in Europe. They have never had any rights where firearms and self-defense are concerned. -
Adding that one expensive firearm to the collection...

Looks more like an M91, third configuration. Made by Sestroryetsk in 1894.
