  1. Justice is served, lol.
  2. With Capybaras on the loose in Monroe County I would believe just about anything now. http://www.knoxnews.com/story/news/local/2017/06/29/capybara-worlds-largest-rodent-captured-monroe-county/438500001/
  3. That is a great price when you're talking about a volume purchase. Like I and others said, I just have fundamental issues with repacked ammo, especially .22. It is not repackaged bulk ammo as CCI SV comes in 50 rounds boxes. You can't even be sure it's SV, how old it is, or if is stuff that was just swept up off the floor of some warehouse or original packaging damaged by something like water. Too many unknowns for me. I'm sure the ammo is fine.
  4. CCI does not pack .22 ammo in plastic bags. Matter of fact the only people that do are neckbearding gun stores and gun show dealers. Did you do the math? It's $.12/round shipped...and the panic is over.
  5. Many have some type of outdoor or marine grade carpeting on the top. I still lay on old blanket over the top of that.
  6. Good grief all those rules are ridiculous. As far as that story goes there is so much to quip and opine on I'm just gonna leave it alone.
  7. Do any of them allow phasers, blasters or disrupters?
  8. This is what happens when effeminate mens get all jacked up on chai tea latte.
  9. Thanks. I got it at SIA. They actually have another 28-2 4". A 70's made pistol with unoriginal to the gun target grips (but still S&W) and red-insert front sight but still a nice specimen if one did not care about 100% originality.
  10. He might be lamenting his paw's chop-job on the M1917.
  11. Picked up this Smith and Wesson model 28-2 4" circa 1966 (but I'm telling myself it's '67 because that's what I need) last week. The Highway Patrolman:
  12. That is the natural order of a proper education. Get a grounding in the tangible, understandable way of things then progrgress to obscure, befuddling codes and formulas.
  13. I would prefer my CIA agents drinking straight black coffee rather than those over-priced coffee-flavored beverages Starbucks peddles.
  14. Geography, History, English, etc.
  15. I thought it might be a good problem for someone so inclined to work out. I'm not that guy.
  16. Are you sure? Standard .50 BMG is subsonic before it goes 2000 yards so that "Sorry" could have gotten there first, eh?
  17. Whatchu talkin' bout Willis? Ain't no Arnold in this cinematic masterpiece.
  18. Who doesn't love this movie? I've seen it about a million and eight times but it is on again and I am watching. Be well.
  19. If you are going to keep posting news links at least post one that ties your thread title in. http://www.knoxnews.com/story/news/crime/2017/06/22/onetime-reserve-officer-facing-charges-loudon-county-shooting-deaths-sister-fiancee/419919001/
  20. I just came here to comment on this. That Canadian broke the record set by a bloody Englishman! Our snipers need to step up their game, go USA!
  21. The only reason I know of people removing bolts is as some kind of security measure, you know less tempting to those who might have sticky fingers. Being the suspicious type I would be very suspicious of a rifle without its bolt for $40.
  22. Probably not too much if you didn't agree on a price upfront.
  23. Is latch for side-folding stock, comrade.
  24. Just being in the vicinity of a Cracker Barrel gives me the trots and I've got an iron gut. Their geegaws hanging on the walls would be the last thing I'd be on the hunt for.
  25. Probably not but it might singe you eyebrows.
