I was in Harvey's Friday afternoon. They had a bunch of SCCY's in ever color of the rainbow. I believe they were marked $219.99 or $229.99.

It's more common than you think. Great way to downsize, especially for old folks who are moving onto much smaller accomadations. Estate sale companies take a sizable chunk of the sale, upwards of 35%.

The Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson, 4th editon arrived today along with a Hilljack Quickie Loader for the S&W Victory 22. The loader claims to be compatable with Ruger (and Buckmark) mags but I haven't tried yet. I have an Ulimate Cliploader for the Ruger but as McFadden can't seem to get on the ball needed this for the Smith.

That's all very exciting but what is going to break?
-
Say what?

Yep. I had to "negotiate" with my insurance company on the auto policy earlier this year. Apparently everyone in TN is getting jacked this year due to the trash that drives w/o insurance and causes the most problems. Regardless, insurance companies are a bunch of damn greedy bastards.

Everything Dolomite just said. Tile saw is what I meant. HF has wet cut saws for like $75 or less maybe.
-
I'll also add that tiling is actually quite easy. I've only done a single bathroom but once you get past the measuring and determining if the room is actually square, which can be somewhat vexing (especially when listening to internet experts), it's a breeze. Lay down the hardi-backer, mix up some mud, lay down the tiles, then grout. Tile cutters can be had cheap at Harbor Freight and you'll need one of those.
-
They are probably Knoxville's oldest and most reputable tile company. Been in business since 1910.
-
Have you tried John Beretta Tile on Sutherland?

Let us know when your random gun shows up.

The difference is local PD's and County SD's depend on that revenue and taxpayers will pick up the tab when the books don't balance. But magically the books sometimes balance.
-
Haven't heard about the quotas in this thread yet that everyone knows about but no one discusses.

Looks like it did when I bought it pretty much. It's not a G-Tech either that I can tell. The receiver is parkerized, dust cover blue, the rest Hungarian and US parts. Nice, classic wood. Bought it from a long gone store in Knoxville in maybe 2000 or so, don't remember exactly when but it was about the time the Intracs hit the market from what I can tell.

Hey, that's what I have!

Apparently this was a gentleman of exquisite taste. If anyone does go to the auction you might want to put on your Sunday go-to-meetin' clothes, lol. I bet the trains are cool as the old guns. Just imagine being able to put all your stuff out on display to admire anytime you like.

All camera citations are reviewed by a POST certified officer of the jurisdiction in which they are issued prior to mailing. This is nothing new, they've been out there for years as have numerous news pieces on it.
-
So they say but I have yet to hear of they following through with it. Then again, the news is not going to report on it and everyone who has done so is living on borrowed time...per the law. I keep life simple, I know where the cameras are and even if I didn't there are plenty of convenient signs letting you know. Those who don't pay attention just need to go ahead and send The Man his check.

Keep the original barrel if that's what we're discussing. It is serial numbered to the gun and will make it a whole lot easier to sell the gun when the time comes...at least if you were selling to me and don't mind knocking off $100-150 for the absence of the original. Even then I wouldn't want it but that's just me. If you really want a replacement for whatever reason just keep the OEM, put it back in if you want to sell it, then sell the replacement.

I tend to agree. Sessions' support of civil forfeiture is ample proof.

Cruise was outstanding in Tropic Thunder.

I am a huge fan of volunteer/independent/college radio stations and in my opinion WEVL 89.9 out of Memphis is the best in the state. Saturday night is especially good with blues, soul and hardcore (serious punk hardcore) up until about 11. Listen here: http://peace.str3am.com:6030/listen.pls Another is WNCW 88.7 broadcasting from Isothermal Community College in Spindale, NC. They used to have a 10 watt booster transmitter in Knoxville that is long gone but that's how I got hooked. http://wncw.org/listen-live

I'll watch it when Netflix sends me the DVD but obviously there are two stars whose careers might just be in the toilet, lol.
