Has anyone seen the last movie about this starring Nicolas Cage? Is it worth watching?

I couldn't care less about what the Jap sub crew thought. They didn't know that ship delivered the bomb.

Get a screw driver and put all the pieces together. Screw the screws in until tight, but not enough to crush he scope tube. Sight it in. It's really that simple.

This is pretty cool. At 5500 meters it should be fairly well intact. Since I don't do meters that's about 18,000 ft deep. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/08/19/long-lost-uss-indianapolis-wreckage-discovered-by-paul-allen-crew.html https://www.paulallen.com/wreckage-from-uss-indianapolis-located-in-philippine-sea/

Pretty much the same gun except it holds one more shot and isn't .38. With a square butt this J frame feels really good in the hand. He actually had a 36 right next to this one in the same condition w/box but I tried not to look at it as I didn't want to go overboard.

For some odd reason lately I've had a hankering for a S&W revolver chambered in the mighty .32 S&W Long. Scratched that itch today at the gun show with this pristine example. Think it was made around '68 or '69 and appears unfired outside of the factory. Even had the original manual and registration card in the box.

Central BBQ is a short walk from Cooper-Young.

Lol at all this. Franklin was probably affordable 30 years ago but since then everything's been bought up by no-talent "country" musicians, yankees, and whatever it is Miley is.

Like a rusty saw blade?

Cooper-Young is a very hip, trendy part of town with lots of bars and restaurants. It is considered part of Midtown and as they say down there "Midtown is Memphis". The houses are older and I personally would not have a problem staying in one for the weekend if it was a nice one. Many of the houses in that area are rentals and somewhat rundown so know what you're getting into. One the other hand, many are nice and well maintained. The closer to the intersection of Cooper and Young the better off you are. It gets sketchier as you move out from that centerpoint, especially to the south towards Southern Ave. Every type of person you can imagine lives and hangs out down there, so it's kind of interesting if you're into people watching while sitting outside having a beverage. Do not be surprised if you hear gun shots at night. It is also directly under one of the major flyways into the airport so there is jet traffic constantly (think FedEx). CY is one of those parts of Memphis that is "on the border" of some really rough parts of town (to the south and a bit to the west south of the railroad tracks) but I think that district is fairly safe, again close to the center. Kinda hard to explain, but it's a Memphis thing. It's close enough to downtown that you can be there in about 15 minutes. I actually grew up a little over a mile from there in Central Gardens, an area that has not changed one bit it at least 50 years....except all the houses are now ridiculously priced.

Why pick it up? Tell Walgreens to put it back on the shelf.

Insurance companies do not prescribe medicine. They pay their limit based on the formulary or possibly recommend a substitute at the most. Strange things are afoot here.

I say Sam spills the beans. He's got to be on the way back North to his best friend.

Maybe Jon Snow has a reason for not bending the knee other than his current annointment. Wonder if he knows?

Nice. I had a blue convertible I got in 6th or 7th grade. Don't recall the barrel length because for some reason Ruger SA's come in bizzare lengths. It was in the neighborhood of 6". Sold it and bought a Mark II bull barrel just out of college. Still have that and it's one of my favorites. Now I have two Bearcats. Those are a hoot.

Details of the recall, uh "voluntary upgrade", have now been released. https://www.sigsauer.com/support/p320-voluntary-upgrade-program/

Woke up at 3 or 4 this morning, turned on the TV and started watching The Blues Brothers for about the 38th time.

As long as you don't become one of "The Club Kids" you'll be alright.

One would assume. Click it and see what happens.

Club event postings must be approved by a moderator. You can disregard the one I just posted for Social Distortion in Knoxville next Friday if you want. More of a test than anything.

Haven't tried with Firefox yet but once you get up in da club there is a drop-down menu just under the banner. It is set to "Home" by default. Click on that and it exposes several more options including "yourclubnamehere topics". Click on that and then you can make a post. Not all that intuitive but not too bad. Update: Works on Firefox mobile (iOS) but I haven't tried it on a proper computer yet.
