  1. It’s a tracer. Also known as Caliber .30 Carbine M27. What’s on the head stamp?
  2. FYI, Bushnell has a promotion going on this month refunding 30% of the purchase price of most optics. There are some exclusions but the AR Optics line appears to be covered. http://www.bushnell.com/Bushnell/files/db/db185a2e-cbde-4014-a09b-f6fdf8773997.pdf
  3. Those are some of the Maunsell Sea Forts and they still stand. If I'm not mistaken they are or were for sale at one point
  4. Kroger was founded and is still headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. You may know that, you may not, I don’t know. Point is they are not local and have destroyed most of the old Southern groceries.
  5. From what I read earlier, Kroger is one of the biggest magazine retailers in the country and as gun rags are not found in great quantity, if at all, at most other places that sell magazines, this could see many stop printing.
  6. It’s not just “tactical magazines” from what I can tell. It’s gonna be anything that even mentions assault rifles. Guns & Ammo is at the top of the list. Maybe the handgun mags will be spared but I doubt it. I’m honestly surprised they still carry gun mags. It’s rare that I stop and browse that department but it usually is very well stocked with a wide selection.
  7. If I could play guitar and had unlimited financial resources I would consider a Gallagher. Because Tennessee.
  8. Will they still carry clips?
  9. No revolvers? You aren’t even close to being done.
  10. Pretty sure that is dead (bill shelved, stuck in committee limbo) since the Las Vegas shooting. You can thank Ryan for that. I feel confident in saying there is absolutely no way it will ever pass now.
  11. Been there myself. The extractor is the weak link on M1 Carbines so “they” say and since I’ve dealt with a broken one before I tend to agree. They also say steel case ammo is rough on that part. That last sentence I completely agree with. They are immensely satistying to shoot.
  12. You could just edit your original post...
  13. Actually it's just a basic, full-size 75 B but I have had my eye on the PCR compact for a while.
  14. I think the Shadow 2 is too heavy. It is over the 43 oz weight limit. At least that's what the interwebz tells me.
  15. That same question is asked by most after their first time shooting one. CZ's are simply fantastic handguns. I think many overlook them because most dealers do not carry much of a selection.
  16. Can you please provide links to exaclty what the Trump, DOJ, etc are doing? I do not get my news from gun sites that regurgitate MSM. We need to see in writing what is being enacted.
  17. You should just PM Dolomite. He is like a mad scientist regarding the 300 to the point he invented his own bullet.
  18. You are correct. Even the basic AR 556 is pretty nice for the money.
  19. They really are, even if the FSB is a little goofy looking. If I was looking for a first it would probably be the Ruger.
  20. I am going to go ahead and coin the term “Ugly August” now before it all starts.
  21. “Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.” No one elected can be trusted.
  22. I hate to tell you but FLA is not some big bastion of conservatives and pro-gun values. Hell, it’s not even the South except for them rednecks up in the panhandle.
  23. Anderson’s are as good as any other.
  24. How exactly would armed teachers work? Open carry the whole day? Concealed? Locked in a desk drawer? What is to keep those perfect litle angels in many high and middle school systems who could easily overpower the teacher from snapping and doing so?
  25. I don’t think anyone is proposing to “arm” teachers. The idea is to let teachers arm themselves. That may sound like splitting hairs but there is a distinct difference.
