  1. Let's start by saying I know jack about knives. I have knives that cut and do what they are designed to do, cheaply, lol. Have been wanting a nice automatic for a while and just fondled a Benchmade Casbah at the store. First impression is I really like it. Tight lock-up, no play, sensible controls with a blade design and grip shape that I like. It really feels good in the hand. Does anyone have any experience with this particular blade? Any reason I should not buy one?
  2. Hope it performs as good as it looks! As big as the beast is I wonder if you can even tell when it fires.
  3. Not to mention a gun range death is far more relevant on a gun forum than a MVA.
  4. Good grief, you could have planted an acorn, harvested the tree, and whittled out a new stock by now.
  5. Hope everyone had a great Fourth or July and most importantly took a few minutes to reflect on why we celebrate. http://www.ushistory.org/declaration/document/ It only takes a few minutes to read, several more to contemplate.
  6. I could go on at great lengths but...1) who is your “security” company. 2). Do you ever clear your browser cache out? 3) Do you have some type of virus/malware protection running? 4). Do you know how to clear out your temp folder? 5). What operating system are you running and is it up to date, with the latest security patches?
  7. “Flipping” may not be the best term to use on a public forum if you are doing it for profit.
  8. Lol, it’s not like the Mast General candy department. Mostly everyday steel cased or random stuff from the last box of something in most popular and some obscure calibers. If you’re in town it’s worth a visit...as is Top’s BBQ a mile or so down the street West. That’s one of their best locations.
  9. “Cover the loss”, lol. G&A has one of the best selections in the state but their pricing on some things is absurd, while others not too bad. They’re not losing anything.. Great store to visit and even get some ideas that need to be satisfied on the spot. It’s also the only place I’ve seen since I was a kid that sells bullets by the round. Actually, they’ll “waive the tax” often if you pay cash.
  10. Haven’t replaced any true fluorescent fixtures with LED like the kitchen lights, but when those ballasts go then so do the lights. I have been replacing CFL bulbs with LED and am all for it.

Hard to tell from your pics, but is the barrel the same color as the frame?
  12. I had some jollies with a Shockwave in 12 gauge today. Strange to shoot but good fun. So, of course I went Rambo and started shooting one-handed. Is it normal for this beast’s bolt to open when firing in such a manner? I mean it would eject the shell 2/3’s of the time but would not go back far enough to rack a new round.
  13. As am I. While both sides throw plenty of poo, the left is particularly obnoxious and hysterical.
  14. Yep. Swatting at imaginary bugs sure sounds better than muttering obscenities and arguing with spirits.
  15. While I don’t exactly agree with “hardcore conservatism”, or “ists”, I do want a conservative Supreme Court. I’d like to see a court that leans more to the right for the next 20 or 30 years.
  16. I dunno, The Law being The Law?
  17. Total Commander is powerful file management app but I’m not sure if it will do what you ask. I mainly use it for searching files in large directories for specific text strings. It excels at that.
  18. Fess up Raoul, how many times have you read that book?
  19. The Man will always get his cut, regardless of what it does to prices.
  20. Remington 121 Fieldmaster. It was my Dad’s when he was a kid and he gave it to me when I was about 10. Still a fine shooting rifle.
  21. RIP Matt “Guitar” Murphy. He was was well accomplished long before The Blues Brothers.
  22. Very nice and I really like those unfluted cylinders.
  23. Are torpedoes an option?
