  1. It looks like a Rollin White swivel breech, or a very cheap copy.

    AR500

They apparently didn't think too long and hard about that name. Let me Google AR500.....
  3. White House supports existing law, says 3D guns are already illegal https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/31/politics/trump-3-d-printed-guns/index.html
  4. You seem to get it. Maybe those other two will when they quit bickering. This is not about making guns in the grand scheme of things.
  5. If you have the original firing pin I highly recommend you put it back in. If you’re concerned about a slam fire, which is pretty rare, make sure the firing pin channel is free of any dried cosmoline or other such funk. Some Hoppe’s and a pipe cleaner will clear it out quickly.
  6. Take the springy thing out and put a proper free-float pin in. That’s the way they were designed.
  7. It is and that’s what he said...a year ago in response to an irrelelevant question in an ever older thread about an SKS website.
  8. That is some kind of tricked-out M-14.
  9. They already are and guess where they’re coming? I’ve heard plenty of obnoxious New York accents talking about how they did things in Florida lately here in Knoxville.
  10. Without hesitation. RIA’s are excellent 1911’s. Don’t let the low price fool you. They only thing they lack that more expensive pistols have is a fancy finish.

    Bats!

That’s the stuff of nightmares right there.

    Bats!

I’ve had about 5 red tail hawks hanging out in my back yard for the past couple of weeks. Subsequently, the chipmunk population of my ecosystem appears to have been decimated. Speaking of bats, every year I swear I’m gonna put up a bat house to help control the mosquitoes of which there is no shortage around here. One of these days I might actually do it.
  13. Is that the Keto thing that’s all the rage now?
  14. When melted in, sure, otherwise chewing it disgusts me.
  15. You might be ok. Put the balls in and slap a wonder wad on top, or Crisco it up if you want to get messy.
  16. That’s the steak profile I like. The visible fat is an entirely different discussion. I’m like a surgeon excising those bits when throwing down, lol.
  17. Maybe you need .380 balls. Hopefully, someone that knows what they’re talking about will come along shortly. My experience is with a .44 New Army and there are differences in diameter there as well, but not as pronounced I think.
  18. “I recognize the gun”
  19. Basil was on Hallerin Hilton Hill's show Wednesday afternoon. While it was entertaining, although largely unintelligible, I started to feel sorry for the guy. He was calling in from a VA hospital waiting to get checked out (so he said), regardless, the man has serious issues.
  20. Don’t mind the fungus, this is my version of artistic photography, lol.
  21. Monday I was on Bladehq’s website and today I’m rocking the casbah. Overall, I’m very pleased. It’s actually very light and should be easy to carry. Really don’t even notice it in my pocket. The “grivory” is not all that bad but the entire body is made of the material. That could certainly be seen as a negative, but I guess the overall weight makes up for it.
