  1. Do you have the internet there?
  2. It’s a design from the early 1950’s. USAF survival rifle. That’s a stupid price for what it is.
  3. Being a gunsmith I’m sure. I could get an appointment at a dentist quicker that getting a gun fixed by a smith. Point is @Steelharp didn’t give us much to go on. A pic would have helped!
  4. What news on this mystery Colt?
  5. Whatever it is it’s canine.
  6. I forgot about James Earl busting loose but that was big news...especially where I’m from.
  7. You won’t find any SNL clips on YouTube or anything like that, much less one that is embeddable. NBC is mighty tight with that stuff.
  8. Does anyone remember what else happened in 1977? Right here in Tennessee.
  9. I was two months shy of 7 when Nixon resigned and remember it happening but didn’t really know why.
  10. Assuming you are paying for it yourself I would have several roofers come out and give you estimates. Tell them up front thereis no insurance money involved and I bet you’ll see the price go way down. Get a list of the supplies needed and buy them yourself from Home Depot or wherever and pay them to install it.
  11. Glad that’s what it was and you got it running!
  12. 1892
  13. As the Bersa man you need one. Many .22’s can be a pain with ammo but this one is worth it when you find what it likes. It’s great fun to shoot and honestly, I would have no problem carrying it.
  14. As finicky as it is with ammo the Thunder 22 is one of my favorite pistols. It’s my po man’s James Bond gun. It’s also what I use to blast all the Remington Golden Bullets I have. Oddly, it runs 100% with them and little else. No other .22 I have can do that.
  15. It will get fixed one way or another but I think you are confusing EXTRACTOR with EJECTOR. The Ejector is spot welded to the frame and shoves the spent case out. The Extractor is the claw thing on the bolt itself that holds onto the case. Look at post #30 in this thread for pics on bending the Ejector. http://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-wesson-semi-auto-pistols/462336-sw22-victory-not-ejecting.html
  16. I can’t wait to see what it’s going to cost us to rebuild Tyndall AFB.
  17. At least they do it tastefully and cleanly. Very few other manufacturers can say that.
  18. Can y'all image what would happen if Turnbull got their hands on one of these? Think something like this:
  19. I guess we’ve gotten away from “prayers for all those in harm’s way” to “sorry you’ve lost everything but life’s a bitch and you’re on your own”, literally a couple of hours after the hurricane hit land and is still raging. Nice.
  20. Look what Ruger's gone and done. Took them long enough but I like the looks of it. Yeah, stainless is probably more practical but there's just something about blued steel. https://ruger.com/products/sp101/specSheets/15702.html
  21. You knocked it out of the park my man. All I have to add is many over 50 (more like 70) NEED the government to even barely survive.
  22. Do these independent banks have the juice to float multi-million dollar loans to gun manufacturers?
  23. You would have dug the 6’ heavy chain slicing through the car.
