ChuckT is correct. The vehicle itself is a locked container...as long as it’s locked of course. in other words you could lock it up in the glove compartment, trunk, or some kind of attached lockbox, leave the car unlocked, and you are still in compliance. Additionally, you could lock it up in a truckbed toolbox and still be good. Tecnically, you could even chain a safe to the bumper and have it dangling in the breeze.

I went out to buy a shotgun and came home with this!

Have you told the lads back home you are now officially an American redneck with a big ass truck? -
It’s going to take a while for the expungement to work it’s way through the system(s)...if it ever does. Believe it or not all LEO systems are not interconnected, far from it actually. Expect to be denied, then appeal with the paperwork.

What kind of CLP foams?

I remember not really liking that movie. Hate to say it because WWII movies are kinda my favorite.

Happy to hear you didn’t ask for one of those awful rainbow things.

That’s also a good one for historical accuracy.

To be exact it is 7.62x54r, light ball steel core. The silver paint also indicates this and the rounds may, or may not have silver tipped (paint) bullets. The ammo was manufactured in 1972 at the Soviet Frunze factory.

Pretty sure that page on their website did not exist last week.

Saving Private Ryan was the last movie I didn’t get bent out of shape over guns.

That is entirely too orderly. You have plenty of bench space not covered with crap. -
Recommendation on safe movers in Knoxville

Does Aaron Parker actually show how to move a safe? It’s still in the same place. -
India and Pakistan have been going at it for decades. Is the latest flare-up any worse than those of the past?

Lol, What I meant to say was I'm trying to standardize on 158 gr. stuff.

Thanks for posting this. I still have a box or two of Winchester 130 grain .38 Special. Be nice if they’d include a date of manufacture so I don’t have to go digging through the stash. As an aside, I’ve been trying to rid myself of 130 gr .38 (and .357). It’s an abomination.

Solid Workbench Reccomendations
Garufa replied to ShaggyRS6's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
You got this. After you’ve found a plan you like, like Greg said measure, measure, measure before you buy anything. That is very important especially when buying wood and knowing how many free cuts they give you at HD or Lowe’s if that’s the way you go. Use galvanized deck screws and drill pilot holes for them...assuming you’re going to build a beast like I did, lol. -
Pretty sure some type of income must be generated from use of the land for such an exemption if you want to be legit.

Solid Workbench Reccomendations
Garufa replied to ShaggyRS6's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
A basic workbench made of 2x4's and 3/4" plywood is incredibly easy to build and just about indestructible. There are tons of plans on the interwebz from simple to fancy. -
Kinda what I thought. Disconnecting the battery for a few minutes also does the same thing...temporary relief.

I started reading the House judiciary’s amendment version of the bill today. It is full of citations from overwhelmingly anti-gun organizations and media outlets, not to mention a bullet list of all the notorious mass shooting of the last decade or so in which a background check was done or would not have mattered. God help us all when the Dems take total control in two to four years.

If you clear the codes without fixing the problem won’t the check engine light just come back on? I assume that light is the problem?
