Looks like the TN ammo tax has been repealed
Garufa replied to Jason in TN's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
If I’m not mistaken dealers buy the stamps from the state then slap them on whatever size container of ammo. Tax paid. It costs the state $19k to run the program that results in $436k net income. I call that highly efficient and a ROI any business would be envious of. -

July 1st. How is TWRA going to make up for the $436,300 loss in revenue? How did this even pass with that significant of a decrease? http://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/BillInfo/Default.aspx?BillNumber=HB0494&GA=111 -

Also: 2019-05-08 Application status is Abandoned Looks like this may be left over from the electronic, traceable gun craze from a few years ago. None of which really worked or was practical.

LaCrosse Alpha Lite 18 Inch Real Tree Boots Review
Garufa replied to ShaggyRS6's topic in Hunting and Fishing
I have no need for such boots at this time but you should review everything. Very well done. -
The Turks have taken care of that with the Tisas Regent BR9 for around $500-550.

Here is some interesting reading. https://www.knoxnews.com/story/opinion/columnists/2019/04/30/tennessee-concealed-carry-permit-training-handgun-ccw/3621210002/

Because complicating things is what the TN legislature does when it comes to permits.

My understanding is they are still in business but take months to deliver. Their ordering process is only one step above getting something out of the back of a comic book back in the day. Regardless, I want to get a couple and may just suck it up and send off for them.

My barrel is the same that @mikegideon posted but it’s blackened stainless...it looks good. Midway doesn’t sell that version anymore.

If someone came out with a wooden stock it would sure help that out. -

I just came here to say the same thing.

Ruger PC Carbine 9mm (glock mags) $449 at PSA!
Garufa replied to Magiccarpetrides's topic in Long Guns
I wonder if the prices might come down even more now that the Tactical Timmy version is out. I laid hands on one the other day with the rail and it looked pretty good, but I remain unconvinced at this time. -
Just fine I guess. Probably a lot better if I changed a my setup a little.

RANGE USA Closed up shop in the middle of the night
Garufa replied to SonnyCrockett's topic in Handguns
Everything I'm hearing makes it sound like they were still selling memberships and classes up until the end, not to mention gift certificates. I imagine people with guns on consignment might also be a little anxious right now. -
I have the black version of that same barrel on my TGO build.

Once or twice in my youth I found myself in the presence of underwear as big as those pictured above but they didn’t belong to a dude.

The NRA is incorporated in the state of NY so Cuomo can cause them all kinds of problems. This was posted in another thread today and it seriously concerns me about that organization. It’s worth the read. https://www.ammoland.com/2019/04/nras-dirty-laundry-exposed-as-pro-gun-group-cleans-house/#axzz5m9Mp8dA9

Y’all keep your man-panties to yourself. BTW, they’re opening up a Duluth Trading Co. in Knoxville. I may have to go see what all the talk about is with their drawers.

The trigger on mine is very nice. I was pleasantly surprised by it.

So a liberal government and their representatives (the governing authorities ) are in fact, acting on the behalf of God as is his will?
